My wife rang the bell today. While there is still more to do, she is officially done with chemotherapy.

The only thing about this that sucks is giving him water. Unless you got gallons, that ain't gonna work. Give the eyes a milk bath and you'll be right as rain. I (unfortunately) had to do this the a couple weeks ago. I was cutting jalapenos and rubbed my eyes. The sting wasnt immediate, but you could feel it build. Tried water and it was laughable relief. Soaked a paper towel with milk and laid it across my eyes for a few seconds and problem solved. Another Kitchen story - Today, I earned my stripes as the Mandolin finally tasted blood. Doing a quick slice with cucumber and went into autopilot. Took a nice piece of the skin off. While it wasn't super deep, we've hit the max out of pocket for the year so, leveraged the $0 co pay. The wife and I went to urgent care and they got it taken care of. The only good thing was my BP. I've been running at least one mile every day since my bday in Oct. The reading was 109/70. Hasn't been that low since grade school.

Not sure how many of you went out for Black Friday but this is pretty much spot on.

This is so bad.

Loki should have been the first thing out of the gate. So far, the only things that made sense to tell as a story are Loki, Wanda-Vision, and The Falcon and Winter Soldier. Everything else (as far as series go) has felt like filler, especially after watching Loki's finale.

It damn well better be. For this franchise (hell TV in general) it's hard to come up with an ending to a great character that feels on-brand. Hiddleston's emotions in the final scenes (especially the last shot) was visual storytelling at its finest. He seriously earned the right to be talked about for an Emmy. Loki is probably the greatest character in the entirety of the MCU. Didn't even think about it till you said it.

The colors . . .

I'm happy to report that Loki sticks the landing. A fitting end to it all. His whole mantra is a thing. Also, they better keep Majors around. EDIT - Peep the title for the first and last episode and think about a few characters in the show's name . . .

The pitch for this movie always hits me in the feels: Brad Bird was in part inspired to make this film as a memorial to his sister Susan, who died at the hands of her estranged husband by gun violence. His pitch was this: "What if a gun had a soul and didn't want to be a gun?"
