  1. I saw that in the world tour mode you can access a "masters" tab on your phone where you get info and missions from. Luke gave a few tips and missions in the demo. I wonder how many characters from the roster you will be able to interact with using your avatar. If I actually get missions from Juri and have her as a follower in some of the missions it's GOTY right there. They show her really briefly fighting your avatar character in a dark alley,so I guess that could be the area you meet her in the campaign. It also appears that her SFV default is returning. I like the look and I'm looking forward on how the leather / latex texture will look in this engine, but please bring back long hair premium costume for Juri as well,ty 🙏.
  2. Yea they do. Then you do ~ 10 matches to qualify if i remember and it places you in whatever rank the game thinks you deserve based on your performance and wins. After that, the rank / derank rollercoaster starts until you find your sweet spot.
  3. I don't think you need to worry much about people having the upper hand because they spent time in the cracked beta once the game lanches. SF6 features a ranking system that places you based on your initial 10 matches and skill level you had in SFV , it actually askes you. So, at worst you will face unbalanced matchmaking for about 10 matches if you are really unlucky that is since the player pool at start will be quite big. I for one will be spending most of my time at start playing the single player campaign and labbing the characters i aim to play the most ( Juri, Manon, Cammy ) as well as labbing what to do against the rest of the cast. Once i have my fill of that,i'll be hitting the ranked matches, no rush, game is gonna be around for at least 5 years imo.
  4. Yup,either Lili,Nina ,Eliza or Kazuya. If I do play the game,I'm probably gonna try and main one of those. Will see if I have time though,I kinda wanna mess around with 3 characters in SF6 so yea....
  5. All this talk about SRK made me look up old archives main pages to see if i can access some of the very first articles etc. It seems that i can. Check out these snapshots of old main pages and one of the forum. Activity through the years on the forums ( snapshots of the site not player engagement on the forum ) Now here we are ~ 1 month away from Street Fighter 6 launching. Time..... PS : regardless of what happened i had a great time on the SRK forums when i joined, and i truly did meet some great people and i mean it when i say that i never experienced any toxic treatment or elitists pricks. It was smooth sailing especially with bros like @AriesWarlockand @Fatal Error XI over at the Juri forums giving me tips and tricks when i had no clue how to throw a fireball.
  6. I think i got a decent chance to get some average number of viewers on my streams. I basically do the bare minimum and yet i still built a small community with people joining, chatting and having some fun ( i got affiliate lol ) Probably gonna start using mic more often and will stick to the games i usually mess around with ( i have a bad habbit of streaming buggy but fun games at times lol , but that's the charm ) , however i hope the Juri / Manon combo i aim to use in my ranked adventures in SF 6 will draw some interest as well !
  7. The lack of any Shadaloo characters is interesting tbh. I mean yea, Bison "died" but i don't see why they could not bring Vega back for example or Rog. Really makes me wonder if they are going to add a "Shadaloo district / base" part of the city eventually, of course it will come with Shadaloo characters as DLC as well. I don't know when Bison will be added in 6 but ain't no way he won't return in my opinion. A lot of the current character's descriptions from SF6 hint / say that indeed Shadaloo is done for, but i just don't see Capcom showing the middle finger to basically the main boss of the franchise in a game that they appear to put a lot more passion into ( SF 6 ) compared to SF 5.
  8. The way you gained V-trigger was not properly thought of. The main issue however are the v-skills and how they were designed and implemented into the game. This,in my opinion should had been the main or at the very least the most effective way to gain V-Meter for your V-trigger. Naturally, a lot of v-skill as they currently are would require a proper rework because you have useless ones like Mika's for example that is close to useless. A good way would be to make non v-skill combos to do more damage than the v-skill ones but if v-skill is used, the benefit would be gaining v-meter to enhance your character via v-trigger. They chose a bad way of doing it however, rewarding the losing player with meter designed specifically for robbery. It left a sour taste in the mouths of ones on the receiving end because it never felt like the opponent gained the comeback mechanic by earning it, but by loosing at the game.
  9. Blame it all on this bad boy. There ain't no stopping it anymore.
  10. Based on how SF 6 is structured content wise i personally believe that Capcom will have city districts / areas up for sale later down the line. The game has a semi open world and provides single player content for ones that enjoy it. Capcom is no longer limited to only having characters / costumes / stages for DLC. Now they can basically add a entire city part and expand upon the world. Tbh i think SF 6 will be around for quite some time if they play their cards right.
  11. Well, of course it's advertised , they need to justify the higher price tag on those particular versions of the game. I still consider it too early to show the S1 characters given the fact that the game is not even released yet. Game is really close to launch. Smarter move would be wait a bit more and start shortly after. They don't need S1 DLC to keep the hype, the hype is there regardless. It's not out of the question but as you said, unlikely. However game is most likely in "gold" phase for quite some time now. Devs usually make content ~ 1 year in advance regardless and you can be sure the leaked S1 was developed at the same time with the base roster. There is a really high chance Season 2 is ready or close to being ready, so there is a chance of them switching some things up. You never know. However to put things clear. I was never a fan of dragging things a long when it comes to DLC / Season content. If you have it, show it. I don't really give a damn about the "hype train". Show it, if i like it , i buy it , simple as that. Miss me with shadow siluete and all that. Some may enjoy it i suppose, but hey, i spoke my mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. Well, most likely : Some DLC / Story mode alternate outfits since they already teased with the Kimberly one. May show for other characters as well Probably a couple of matches with the recently previewed characters Possibly a Beta 3 / Open beta announcement Maybe yet another in-game commentator Mix all those up and a couple of trailer showcases of what we have seen before and it will cover up that time or more quite fast. As far as Season 1 goes. I mean, it's all been leaked quite some time ago ,it's not out of the question to show / tease them but i personally think it won't be the case.Already showing paid Season 1 content when the game is not even launched is a risk Capcom may not be whiling to take when the game had such a good reception so far. The truth is that many would like to see them regardless, but the other truth is that if they do show them, the unavoidable hate train will be directed at Capcom swiftly .
  13. Shout out to cross eyed gold chain and watch old man Retsu keeping it real. I find it funny how his character model is quite bad but clothes are surprisingly well detailed. I imagine it's possible this particular background model is made with the in-game character creator.
  14. Do people really care if " big names" host these events ? For me it's kinda whatever, though if I had a choice I would much prefer the actual devs to showcase the game ( not the people who got invited a while ago and just mashed every button they could ).
  15. I was playing some Batman on a SNES emulator a while ago and had a blast ( not my gifs ) Now i am tempted to replay the Batman Arkham series as well as Batman Origins, as i enjoyed all of them, fun times indeed. Regardless, i did a bit of research on their latest game Gotham Knights and while it's subjective ,from what i gathered most say it's a pretty average game at best, quite sad. I still wonder why on earth no developer tries to make a Batman Beyond game. A open / semi open world futuristic Gotham ? All the futuristic tech and cool gadgets, there is so much untapped potential in my opinion. Add some RPG elements, allow us to roam around as Terry as well not just as him as Batman, side activities etc. Uff.....maybe one day.
  16. I want to get into MK series for quite some time, but if i'm perfectly honest here i really dislike the movement options in that game. It's weird to describe but no matter what character i tried it feels like they walk like they are in a low gravity room. Distance covered does not match animation frames and pretty much "everyone" has some sort of yolo teleport or forward moving special to make up for it ( i believe it was mentioned by someone here before and i agree with it ). SF is not perfect, but the controls are so much more crispy than NRS games imo it's night and day. I hope MK 12 or Injustice 3 manages to iron this out because they are franchises i am interested in. As far as characters go when it comes to MK i'm pretty much set because it so happens that the ones i like are pretty much main stays : Males - Sub Zero is my favorite character in the franchise Females - Mileena, Skarlet, Sindell ( at least one of them will make it in eventually )
  17. Hate or not hate i ain't cappin'. While SF 6 does a lot of things good, the music direction is clearly not one of them in my opinion. I don't think there is a single track that i would like to listen to like i sometimes do with the older songs. I definitely respect the devs for trying something new,but this ain't it. Hard pass on Gief's theme as well.
  18. I agree with @AriesWarlock i would much rather prefer a full anime / cgi movie. Take for example the Warcraft movie. I personally think it would had been far better without the live actors, should had went full CGI route.
  19. I know others replied first but yea, nothing. Having that said, i got you bro, here's some renders that i made for Juri ! Bonus cross over with Mileena :
  20. Modern controls the standard ? Loosing half your normals and also 20% damage reduction on specials and you expect to win tournaments vs the top players in the world ? It's never going to happen as it's currently implemented.
  21. Hello, I made a cool wallpaper of my personal favs from SFV. Having Juri as base roster in 6 is a blessing but I hope Poison and Laura will be added soon as well. Check it out
  22. Even though i never really buy a fighting game for it's single player part i am curious about the World Tour that SF6 has. Having that said, they have shown very few content regarding it and offered not much detail either. Remains to be seen how polished it's going to be on release and how much replay value it offers. I am curious about : How big are the actual districts Do characters from the initial roster have / control their own part of the city and act as single player "bosses" where your character gets to fight them in a "what if" scenario ? Will Capcom expand upon SF6's DLC options outside of the usual Character / costume and actually offer actual areas as future DLC to expand upon the city's size and offer possibly numerous quests / side activities for players that are interested in the single player game more to increase the game's lifespan ? Do loading screens exist or you can explore the entire town freely ? Will quests / activities done in the single player aspect of the game be of any use to the character you get to play online ( not your avatar ) . Like can you unlock a certain color for Juri, Ryu, etc if you complete certain tasks in the open world ? They are either saving this as the big "wow" factor or it's possibly the least finished part of the game so far and it's why they have not shown much of it yet. Based on a few vids and screenshots that we saw so far the graphical quality is much lower than the 1v1 part of the game , granted it was most likely an old build. With the game being 2 months away from release give or take ,it's pretty safe to say it has reached the gold status when it comes to how finished it is,i can't imagine Capcom doing much more now than double and triple checking for bugs and possibly adjusting some character frame data / damage numbers at most. Remains to be seen i suppose. PS : probably not gonna happen but if i get to walk around the town and randomly run into characters i like from the roster,it's going to be insanely cool. Imagine them implementing a mechanic where certain characters spawn / walk around in some areas of the city and give you unique quests to do X for Y reward.
