I'm actually playing through San Andreas right now and I gotta say: It's Ugly as Sin Clunky as Hell A buggy mess Cringy as all hell writing wise And an absolute blast. I don't know how it does it. It doesn't hold up in any individual category, but it's so incredibly fun to play

It does get difficult when you have friends and family that are on a downright dangerous path. The guy defending himself is a Veteran, had been hit in the chest with the rubber bullet, and responded with legitimate combat engagement training. Literally, he wasn't sure if he had been shot in the chest with a real bullet, kept a level head and outclassed these assclowns in the van. Then he took cover, realized he shot at cops and immediately surrenders and doesn't do anything to get himself killed. For fucks sake... Policing in America needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and get it's vetting process and training under control. Fast fashion is wack. People look at me like I'm insane when I tell them that my jeans cost me $200, but I look at it like this: 1.) I bought the jeans over 3 years ago and they're the only pair of jeans that I have 2.) I wear them all the time, and since they were raw unwashed denim when I got them, they've worn and faded into some amazing looking jeans 3.) the company will repair them FOR FREE as long as it isn't catastrophic damage. When you consider that a pair of Levi's on sale are going for $40 and would last me about 2-3 months if I wore them the same way, I've saved hundreds of dollars on pants over the last three years.

One of my wife's friend's husband cornered me and talked at me about NFTs and crypto for a couple hours once and I swear to god he was giddy about how much energy it uses and how bad it is for the environment. His explanation was that they cost so much energy and money to get and that makes them more valuable. I think it goes without saying, but I don't like this guy very much

My biggest gripe with Bloodborne's button mapping is the secondary weapon being on L2 and transformation attack being on L1. I really wouldn't have any real gripes if those two were switched. It's just that all modern controllers have these big ol floppy triggers with a really long travel to actuation, so timing a gunshot for a parry would be a lot easier if it was on the shoulder button as apposed to the trigger. And since my brain draws a parallel from the heavy attack and the transformation attack, L2 being the transformation makes more sense to me. It happened to me more times than I would like to admit this weekend when a enemy was about to attack and I just change my weapon to two handed mode like a renob instead of actually shooting them.
