She apparently did the reference lead vocal and BGV arrangement vocals (that they probably left in because JLo is shitty singer and it probably helped pad out the mix a bit and was cheaper and easier than trying to get JLo to re-sing all of it)
 
That sort of thing has been going on for a long time though. That protege girl group Rick James had called the Mary Jane Girls apparently used to do some vocal pinch hitting on Paula Abdul's records for the same reason.
Rick Astley is another one. When "Never Gonna Give You Up" first came out, it got a lot of play on black R&B stations because the single was just a vinyl with a white label and no picture or anything. Course once they found out he was a ginger I think the airplay on those stations tapered off lol

Dead Space 2023's only issue was that it came out in 2023.  Looking it up it was the 2nd best selling game in Jan 2023 but nothing else numbers wise seems to have been mentioned about the game sales wise.  So the legs may just gotten cut off quick on it or this could be another "corporate expectation" versus reality scenario.  We might never know.

The few times I've called its been a nightmare and that seems to be the general consensus from most people who have had to use it. 
 
I'm really glad it worked out for you tho, fighting CS is something people really shouldn't have to do. 
 
Edit: @Darc_RequiemYo for like a solid month my favorite way to pass time idly was to look up black people reacting to Ram Jams Black Betty or Wild Cherrys Play That Funky Music White Boy and losing their shit when they see both those bands are white as fuuuuuuuuuuuck 🤣 

And their customer service is absolutly fucking dog shit because Gabens from IT and believes in the ticket system. It's part of why I don't use Steam I Dread having to deal with Valve Customer Service should something go wrong with my account that would have thousands of dollars of purchases attached to it. 
 
Fucking Sony and Nintendos customer service is better. Think about that. 

It's actually 1000% debatable becaue beauty is 1000% subjective Darc. Your personal ideas of what is pretty isn't every single person's idea of pretty. It's just a general concensus. The fact I'm not the only one in just this one small thread alone saying they aren't ugly disproves your statement immedietly. 
 
Eves hips are wider then her shoulders, her body type is unrealistic. They've edited her model to be more attractive. It's not a 1 to 1 scan. 
 
I dunno any other games Shift Up has made to pull from so I can't. Haven't done that research. From what little i know its all mobile/gacha shit i dont give a fuck about. You're welcome to name any other characters you want tho, we can go all day with that. Bayonetta's body is EXTREMELY unrealistic, her arms and legs are inhumanly long as is her torso. It serves a function beyond just titillation tho as it makes her animations much much easier to read. 
 
You seem to have come away from this convo thinking I have a problem with unrealistic character designs when I don't at all. I just also have 0 issue with extremely realistic character designs to, designs that fit the characters and the lives they lead. 
 
I love having both super model heroes and regular Joe Schmoe heroes. 
 
I like both of these things so there is nothing for me to rail against because I'm getting both of what I want from the games I buy. When I'm done with realism of a sort I switch to some anime ass lookin shit like FF7R, I just put over 120 hours into that and everyone's Anime JPop looking as fuck in that game and I love it. But I also love Horizon trying to sell me a reaslitc-ish role play heavy experience. I'm playing a Techno Barbarian not a runway model, I would like her to look like the Techno Barbarian she is not the super model Coomers want her to be. I would like my Outter Rim Star Wars Bounty Hunter to look like an Outter Rim Star Wars Bounty Hunter not a Super Model in the Imperial issue of Sheeves Weekly. 

I did the same thing with Bobby Caldwell when he passed away. I watched a bunch of people watch his "What You Won't Do For Love" video and flip out when sings "I came back to let you know" stands up from the bench and you see he's white. One dude actually stopped the video and called his mom on his cellphone to ask her about it. 🤣🤣🤣

Then post actual screen shots bro. I literally posted a screen shot I took from the game below your post and you ignored it becauee posting old photos you pull off of Google is way easier then actually dealing with real screen shots from the actual game by actual players. 
 
Only one believing fake shit here is you to push this stupid idea that videogame characters being made ugly. They aren't, they just aren't pandering to your bishoujo pvc women statue fetish like Stellar Blade is. Aloy isn't remotly ugly or Manish in Forbidden West. She's slightly heavier in the face, that's it, as per my actual in real time screen shot from the game of her face last night. It's amazing how my screen shot from the game doesn't look anything like your picture.

It's a mixed bag.  If it wasn't Steam, someone else would be in that spot, and a LOT of big online platforms suck a lot more than Steam does.  (Now, Stead did suck donkey balls for quality on launch.)

This might be unpopular, but I think Steam's success has been a net negative for gaming given that they're a defacto monopoly and that they normalized internet-as-delivery-method and non-physical games.

Day 1 patches are kind of 1 thing but if you are shipping a 1 player game out into the wild on a physical disc and it can't be played from beginning to end without requiring to be connected to the internet then thats an issue.  Really defeats the purpose.
 
I take issue more with that than the VG company spending unnecessary money on a model for a face that they were going to change up a little bit and they could have sculpted from scratch themselves and maybe saved some money.  I'm not going to lie.  Its weird that companies are hiring models for their face and then making changes but I'm also not going to pretend I fully know the full ins and outs of how much something costs to do versus just getting a model and scanning as a shortcut.  They could definitely just use their artists to create a face model from scratch but that could potentially take longer to do versus paying a model who looks close to what they are looking for and then tweaking it.  The whole discourse surrounding the face is extremely small potatoes in the grand scheme of things cause attractiveness is always going to be subjective.

I'm biased: even if they were actively changing faces, and I cared, that'd be issue 9,726 I have with gaming. Nowhere close to the top 10. But I'm literally not seeing any difference. Every one of these "face-gates" seems so fucking stupid to me.

Just a heads up for anyone interested in Truxton II/Tatsujin OH! On Steam, that game is BRUTALLY hard. Like even shmup pros say it goes too far lol.

@RSG3 Hey Friday me and my sista who came to town to visit. Drove up to Flagstaff for the first time. We checked out the Orwell Observatory. Real cool that this is where Pluto was discovered. It was below 40 degrees and hail. You'd forget you're in Arizona.
 
We're heading back up that way Wednesday. Gonna visit the Embry Riddle Campus in Prescott. Then Sedona to see that Chirch built into the Mountains
