I don't know much about this dude other than his constant hunting down of Community Managers at the moment that he senses some sort of DEI stuff from them or if he feels they're too woke. I didn't even know dude was working on a game to be honest lol. Apparently dude stirred up controversy before by having a fairly shit take about Starfield's title screen that he has deleted. Despite how anyone feels about Starfield in general...that's a wild statement to be putting out there from a supposed dev and he got his ass cooked for it. Apparently he's now saying he's being forced to show his game because DEI Journalists are out to get him. Glad he cleared up that his project is supposed to pronounced "Ember" cause I def would not have gotten that out of "Em-8er" without being told. I'm looking through this dude's tweets I"m just now noticing the blue checkmark and dude is posting like 10 times a day about DEI shit...probably even more if I look at his replies. This is kind of interesting... This dude has also been crowdfunding for Em-8er since 2019 so here's hoping something actually comes out of it!

That probably goes with them restricting conversation on those topics which is what the CM said. The CM also flat out said they didn't want deal with the bs that comes with it.

They haven't told anyone really to fuck off regarding DEI stuff because the community manager that Grummz is attacking actually mentions about the different people that are involved with HD2. Based on what I've read (which is actually in the tweets above the Grummz screen capped), they banned some transphobic people and it seems to have been somehow confused with them banning people for asking for LGBT items in the game. They restricted topics having to do with anything like that in their discord in general just to avoid the hate garbage that comes with it. It'd be kind of weird for them to tell people that that want DEI stuff to "fuck off" when the community manager actually mentions about the diverse people that helped make HD2. Regardless, saying HD2 is anti-political even if he's potentially trying to say that it's anti-political in one aspect is still a false statement since the game in its design in what it's doing is still very political. It's like saying X-men is anti political because it's not making a direct statement about the Israeli-Palestine conflict.

I don't know how you have so little media literacy to somehow think that Helldivers 2 is anti-political. And yeah this is a real tweet by this guy trying to go after HD2 community manager. I had to double check to make sure. Edit: IGN put up their review for HD2 on Twitter and apparently people are upset and or realizing that they're playing as fascists or upset that they said you're playing as fascists? Arrowhead literally has to come out and say what they're not being subtle about it apparently.....amazing.

Like Million said putting Lara over Mario is Wild AF. You don't even have to like or play Mario to know this is almost objectively wrong. This whole thing has some wild shit in it. Astarion from BG3 is a top 20 icons? For real? My guy been in 1 whole game (Had to look up if he's been any other Baldur's gates and...nope...just 3) last year and he's instantly top 20? The amount of people Sackboy stepped over to be no.5 is nuts! Agent 47 at 3 is ridiculous considering the characters he stepped over to get to that spot. Ellie over Nathan is interesting...don't agree with that either. And as much as I enjoy RDR2...Arthur? Really? Over Pikachu, Solid Snake and Crash? They need to sell whatever they are on cause I'm sure they could make a profit.

If he gets fired I'll be surprised but this is definitely a wild hill to die on in regards to this game.
