I tried that before when I was younger and damn near fell on my face. Also this got me remembering there was area in the NES Batman game where you had to do that which always gave me trouble. The Mega Man X wall jump with cling slide was much better 

I am glad I dodged this bullet and didn't fall for FOMO at it's launch.

I get the reasoning but to completely undo it seems short sighted. You can pull back while leaving some things from that run to build on. But it's not a surprise given who is involved. Still hope some of the other creatives can make a diamond out of the coal.

Without seeing the first movie or at least knowing it's plot all you will get are the action sequences, which there are more of this film compared to the last.
 
But if you have seen one of the other Dune adoptions you can probably pick it up. But if not would recommend seeing the first.

I mean the guts of the Switch were old even before it was released, but it isn't that hard to get it to work decently. Could be the usual story where they just focused on the current gen platforms and left the Switch port as a project to a less experienced team to handle. A stupid decision give the Switch's market size plus it's retro home cred but sometimes that happens.

Honestly, for games like Contra, it's inexcusable. From a sales standpoint, these type of games do best on Switch. It's not a hardware intensive game, why the issues. I mean there are 140+ million Switches out there. This isn't a Wii U situation where there was little incentive, outside of just plain integrity, to optimize ports.

First review of the new contra I've seen.  Short version is that they loved the game, but the switch version is total crap.
