My brother is getting rid of all his twisty puzzles and gave me a bunch of them. I just solved this 2x2 cube, and probably never will again because it turns so badly I thought I was going to break it at a couple points.
 
Incidentally my pb for 3x3 cube is now 24 seconds. I haven't been drilling as hard and probably have more id need to learn in order to be able to get sub 30 regularly but I can get under 40 sec at will.

I can't find the video right now, but yeah. We tried dipping an old, hard steak in a bit of pineapple juice, and within 3 minutes the meat was so soft it was tearing apart when we picked and lifted it up. It's got to do with the enzymes of the fruit. You can find videos on yt of people tenderizing meat with pineapple juice.

There's a song my kid likes where they ask a kid if they like, say, mushrooms, kid says yes, then do they like popsicles, kid says yes, then do they like mushroom popsicles? Kid goes 🤮 That's kinda how I feel about pineapple pizza. I like pineapple, I like pizza, but not both together.
 

One of the few benefits of growing up as an army brat was I got to try a lot of different foods from all over thanks to my dad working with so many different people from different countries and cultures. 
 
thanks to that upbringing I’m not even remotely weary of trying new food. I’ll try anything once and go by the “three bite rule” my parents made me use when I was a kid. It’s a simple but effective rule.
 
If I don’t like the new thing I’m trying after three bites I simply don’t finish it. It’s a rule that’s treated me well.

I figured that's what Roxy Striar gets when she orders pizza.  It's forever stuck in my mind that she doesn't like cheese, because that's such a bizarre food stipulation to me.  It's tough to imagine pizza with no cheese....or anything else that usually has cheese suddenly being without it.
 
I'll eat burgers sometimes with no cheese but that's just due to laziness or me being out of cheese at the moment.
Broccoli ---as a kid I only liked broccoli if it had cheese melted on it....but now the idea of that is disgusting to me; broccoli should only have a bit of butter on it...nothing else is needed there.

Out of all the things that can show up on a pizza, it's just weird to me that pineapple is the thing that kicks up holy wars.  I wouldn't order it or make it like that, but if that's what's set in front of me I'll eat it and it's fine.  Better with some salty ham on there to to counter balance it though.  Nobody out there starting flame wars over anchovies or olives, which I would think would be much more controversial toppings.
