I understand the thing about sound in games. One thing that will almost instantly turn me off of a game is bad sound. I dont care about the music most of the time but the sound effects have to be good.

With AI, games will soon be able to pronounce my characters custom name. Sweet.

I was reading that shit about Hard Drive and it seems all the people that worked there had already left of their own accord before the patreon shit got started. Im sick of people in the game industry always crying and complaining on the internet when they lose their job. They should already know going into this field that the turnover rate is horrible. Yeah, I bet your issue was running it from an HDD. I use an AMD CPU and GPU but I run the game from an SSD.

Ive never had those issues with that game. Were you playing it with like max settings on some wonky resolutions higher than 1080p with like ray tracing and shit on trying to hit 120fps?

Im just curious, what were the issues with Returnal on PC? The only issue I ever remember people complaining about is that you couldnt save during a run. Im not sure if that was only on Playstation or on both pc and playstation. By the time I got around to playing it they had already fixed that issue.

I tried that game - like a dragon: the man that deleted his name. I thought it sucked. I also said how it was dumb (was tellin' my lady about the game) that the guy faked his death to move on but he doesnt move on he stays and everyone knows who he is anyway. Stupid.

I think the thing does count demos/playtests. I looked at my last year review and it highlighted playtests that I played. One demo listed right there for 2023. Here is my 2022 list thing In this one it shows demos and playtest

Probably less than a fortune. I dont buy many games at full price ($60 or $70), think I bought maybe 4 full priced games this year. I always wait till a game is 30 dollars or less to get it and a lot of the games I like are less than that on release. Edit - I wonder if that thing counts demos too? I played a lot of those as well.

Any of you guys play Bomb Rush Cyberfunk? Figured with as much as you guys like Jet Set you'd be all over Bomb Rush. I thought it was ok. I was never a big fan of Jet Set Radio. Was too simple for me I think, same with Bomb Rush. I guess when Jet Set first came around I was hoping it would be like thps but with cell shading and graffiti.
