I really felt Luke's story, I'm gonna be honest.
 
Imagine for a moment that you have a son. That son turns out to be Luke from SFV. You realize he will grow as an insufferable jackass with Popeye arms that is somehow inexplicably pushed by Capcom as the next generation of Street Fighter. You despair at the revelation and realize, there's only one way out. If I were Luke's father, I too would choose to take the chance of a terrorist attack and blow myself with the bomb rather than live in a world with Luke in it.

After 4 years you'll think Nash has paid enough for the sins of season 1

This is exactly what happened to Nash in the last couple patches. He got a couple buffs to not be a bottom 5 character and people started complaining about him less than 24 hours later. Like holy shit god forbid he get a couple overturned tools after being dog shit for 4 years.
 
Ive said it a few times…I love fighting games but I absolutely cannot stand the majority of the players. 

@AriesWarlock i know all these content creators go for clickbait titles and thumbnails. One of the main reasons i never click on those videos.
 
But people are beyond ridiculous  at times.  
 
Juri gets what pretty much all others had in the game 5 years later, stuff like  counter hit st.mp x st.hp, people start making titles  like  "juri op" / " must be stopped" / "cheap as hell" and the list goes on. 
 
They can hold all those L's from her st.mk. 
 

 
 

The 8 World Warriors being in the base roster is good and correct and should always be the case.

Ryu had this normal before and it was special cancelable back in the day! I'm happy he is looking way more fun in this game than SFV where Ryu was st.mp the character until season 4.

Same reason my first wishlist char are Sagat (muay thai) and Dudley or at least Rog (pure boxing), even if like other missing chars more
 
Glad they did it in base cast, because they may have lacked the balls to do it wasting a DLC slot that could be more profitable with somebody else, i was legit surprised when SFV did it, specially so late

To tease the fanbase as the cruel CapGods laugh at their suffering and longing for long times favourites. Also, the higher hierarchs at Capcom probably feed off the negative energies released by the fanbase in order to prolong their unnatural lifespans.
May I remind you of that time Capcom had to get rid of Cammy's nipples that showed in her default because it was too risky for ESPN, and their emergency solution was to flip the textures on her model or something like that, resulting in her knees looking all wrinkly and weird until they finally fixed it in Arcade Edition?

I honestly don't think they were.

Bison's lower body (beneath the coat) had a completely different and unfinished shading. It was only corrected a few months after the physical release. SF5 was made with a lower budget and it ultimately was rushed. Game needed at least 6 more months but Capcom were in a rut.

They are no longer in such a rut and are enjoying a peak in their powers. So I am hoping they do right by releasing a fuller package that will make us the envy of the FGC once again.

Genbu is also the black turtle. We already had Suzaku castle with Suzaku referring to the 'vermilion bird'. 2 of the 4 classic Japanese sacred beast spirits for the 4 cardinal directions, the other two being the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger.

That feel extra strange considering recently they even said Ryu new design have indeed a buddhist theme going on as you say

Interesting that they named Ryu's theme Viator, Latin for "wanderer".
Anyway, Ryu's stage is apparently named Genbu Temple. Interestingly, its Japanese name is 玄文神社 genbu jinja, but the two kanji for genbu aren't the usual 玄武 but 玄文 instead, because the pronunciation can be the same (玄文 should normally be read genbun but the last character could also be pronounced bu). I had an exchange of views with Ryoredcyclone about the fact, and while there's no definitive conclusion, we supposed Capcom changed the last kanji because there does exist an actual shrine with that exact name in Kyōto.
The translation Temple is nonstandard. Usually, 寺 tera is "temple" and 神社 jinja is "shrine", because strictly speaking a temple is Buddhist and a shrine is Shintoist. The shrine here is markedly Shintō, and is evidently dedicated to INARI, god of prosperity, generally depicted as a kitsune (fox), although Inari has no canonically definite sex nor depiction (Inari can appear as a fox, as a man or as a woman at will). Genbu shrine is a mix of all Inari shrines around Japan, most notably Itsukushima with its spectacular and widely known torii gate in the water, and Fushimi Inari taisha with its long row of torii gates one after another. Inari shrines tend to have multiple gates because thriving businesses and companies often dedicate a new torii in an Inari shrine to thank the god for their success; who knows, maybe one of those torii has Kanzuki zaibatsu written over it somewhere... The imagery here is stereotipically Shintō, in contrast with the usual Buddhist themes associated with Ryu (until now, it was Honda who used Shintō references). The two sakura trees are joined with a sacred shimenawa rope, as it's customarily done with rocks to simbolically "marry" them.

SF4 music was so bland and lacking in personality. It's the type of stuff you immediately forget about as soon as it's finished. The remixes were a mixed bag

I miss SF4's music so much...they understood what having a THEME was.  Even the stage music was memorable as hell!

One thing i loved is how fucking serious Chun looks in the sparring with Li Fen in the trailer, she's surely not going hard (in fact barely touch her) but the face is cold af... it sell well for Chun teach kung fu is not teach an hobby but share a knowledge that will likely save her life one day (wich considering Chun's and Li Fen lives make sense)
