Ok am gonna need to eat my words, Andor is pretty legit and in the same style as Rogue One. A few let down with a few cartoon characters (Syril Karen) but otherwise a very serviceable thriller. Bail in the US is you can be rich and get that bond to go home. In other countries and especially the UK Bail is a set of restrictions that you follow before your appearance in court. Ok I'll bite. I agree that you can give an actor probs for his performance despite not cast properly, that's sensible since it's all about the acting. My rebuttal is this tho, what shows have more problems than their race swap? My own opinion being that any show that does a race swap does so only with established characters and doing so hurts not only the lore but the other all enjoyment of said media not through any racist undertones but just being pissed off that such a change was made in the first place. Lance Reddick is not a great actor btw, he was cool in the John Wick movies but he's dead down the line average at best. Whoever plays Jade Wesker is fronting this show. You can not be annoyed that they turned Nazi Ayran true blood Wesker into a black guy cause reasons just because the man does a cool angry about. Would you be cool if they did Superman staring Denzel Washington? How about Danny Glover as Bruce Wayne? How about Tom Hanks as Black Lightning? Tom Hardy starring as Static Shock anyone?

Being ok with a race swap because you like the actor is pretty stupid. Like just don't mess with source material or go full China and just rip a story off and make the characters wtf colour you want. I just found out about this show as I was surfing Netflix and doing a quick Google it seems all the buzz is about the race swap which is pretty poor considering the show isnt all that bad judging from the 4 episodes I've seen so far. Resident Evil movies have set the bar so low as it make expectations non existent so that could be a factor... Can't wait to see Indian Chris Redfield 🤞
