This is the series I am talking about. Project '00 is readily available and scanned online various places but "End of NESTs" has been a phantom I've been chasing for YEARS so I'm fairly confident it is not scanned anywhere (though I could be wrong).

This might be a little strange but I've come into possession of a reprint copy of King of Fighters RX2001 End of NESTs manhua. I have never been able to find scans of this manhua online anywhere and I believe they might simply not exist. The manhua had an extremely limited release as a convention exclusive and was a follow-up to the RX series (which IS scanned online).
 
I don't want this part of KOF history to disappear. I didn't know if there were any KOF lore/history fans around that might have the access, interest and capability to scan the manhua so as to preserve it. I actually have 2 copies of it so I'm happy to ship one of the copies over so that it can be scanned for more people to have access to and enjoy. If anyone wants to, please just message me and I'll arrange to ship it out.

Dunno where that rumor came from but that is easy to debunk.
Capcom has never been in financial peril, since in fact they were doing heavy investments in infrastructure.

The reason why SFV launched as it was was because they wanted to
1) Launch the game at the start of the year for the CPT
2) Capcom even since SF4 launched, was not really that into making FGS again, since they seem them as low priority.
This is also very documented.
 
Like common man, at least try to verify what you are trying to pass as fact, since is very easy to do.
That shit sounds like some bs that Kappa invented to try to justify the fuckups of capcom that are all on them.
One of the beauties of capcom being a public company is that you can easily find info about their financial situation over the years.
Not only on gaming media, but financial and business publications, where they show you the hard data and actually give you tools to compare them, like for example.

Also, the bad netcode, the stupid mechanics and hitboxes and all of that are deliberate choices and/or result of lack of foresight or plain incompetence.
Like for example, the input lag cycle, is something that is not unique to SF5, since it also appears on the SF30th collection, yet is not something that happens on SF4, MVC3 or SFxT.

Too many people forget that 2001 was over 20 years ago.
 
Both Capcom and SNK are very different companies than they were during the 90s.
 
Using CVS2 or SVC Chaos as a reference for who should make CVS3 is pure silliness tbh.
 
SNK is a smaller company with less resources, but their latest projects make me feel like they really love fighting games.  The Street Fighter team seems like they are doing some great stuff with SF6, but Capcom as a whole isn't about fighting games like SNK seems to be.  They make way more money with their other franchises.
 
I think SNK should get another shot at it.

As much as I love the Capcom FGs, SNK games are overall just as good and as bad as Capcon games. For all the claims of busted stuff you can levy at a good amount of Capcoom FGs, you have similarish issues on the other side.
 
ST is awesome, but it is not played anywhere near to the amount that KoF 98 is. The same goes for some other title comparisons. 
 
 
Think what really sets both companies' history apart is that SF players have been a lot more passionate about competing in formal settings. The amount of work the US SF community did left a lot of other ones in the dust. 
 
SvC Chaos may have been a mess, but so was CvS1 one. Capcom got two passes at the cross over game and SNK got one. But SNK did the card fighter series which is really fun. 
 
 
Think if SNK had made games out of popular western IPs, we'd have a way different story.

I find this strangely ironic, coming from someone like Max. 

Being a frequent watcher of his stream, I’m not surprised to see that Max thinks this. He made it clear that he enjoyed KOF15 more than SF5 and goes back to it often. It may just be engagement bait, I can see where he’s coming from. I don’t think we should use SvC Chaos as proof that SNK shouldn’t be the one to make since they were on Death’s Door when they were developing it. Now SNK is at a better place since then and they usually give it their all to their fighting games. As opposed to Capcom who threw beloved series Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom into the wolves with V and Infinite.
 
That being said, SF6 looks pretty great right now. It’s clear that Capcom is treating this better than their last two games. If CvS3 was to happen and it got a budget like Resident Evil or Monster Hunter, it could be great.

Realistically, my favorites need to be in the game and I'll adapt to Bison's SF6 playstyle. Because that's what TRUE LOVE is. You hos ain't loyal!

Dan has become a worthless except as a perfect example of Capcom's seeming inability to do anything but Flanderize their most prominent characters. Instead of being lovable and having redeeming qualities, Dan just keeps getting his joke-status upgraded again and again.
 
I'm hoping they prove me wrong...but I doubt it.

I actually thought that Freeza using Black Armor was a joke. 
DBS had already crossed in to fanfiction-style storytelling and I find it mildly irritating.
