heh, I think the company behind Outriders only stepped away from the "live service" label because it's become a stigma (and rightfully so).... that game seems to fit the bill to me, as it's a game that is unfortunately online-only with frequent updates.  If there was 1 thing I could erase from the gaming industry right now, it would be that concept of "live service" games.  It only benefits the companies involved...there is no positive for the gamer/consumer.  A regular offline-capable game is, on paper, better for the consumer in every possible way.  You actually "have" a copy of the game for real... and even if it's a commercial failure, you can still play it a year or 2 from now if you feel like it.  Can anyone play Battleborn at this point?  Probably not...and Anthem will soon be the same deal.  The Live service concept can go burn in hell forever.

hahaha, why has Sony become the pussified company of the games industry in the past couple of years?  It's a real shame, man....you'd think they got infiltrated by some American Boomers and libs or something. (*since Libs have become the side that now thinks everything is "problematic" for 1 reason or another)  I'd prefer my entertainment *not* be sanitized by baby-soft chumps like that.  I'm not sure they realized that the company now stands out in quite a bad way on this issue.  We don't need companies trying to be "Mommy", as if we're all still 8 years old and not yet ready to see a good R-rated film.  That shit is more irritating the more I think about it; fuck THAT.
 
I got back into some more Destroy All Humans a little while ago... this was such a classic; one of my most played games from the original Xbox.  I'll check another place tomorrow most likely for the Switch version... helll yeah I'm double-dippin' on that greatness.

Personally I found the first half kind of boring apart from the end of it, I always find "trapped in a dream" arcs to be really boring in anime and it didn't really deliver anything to stand apart from those, the fight at the end of that was really nice though and the second half was great but I kind of left feeling that the first half could have really been part of a season and was only there in the move because it hadn't been covered in a series and they needed to both get it out of the way and make up time.

One thing it does do is hog the controller 1 port with big picture even when you aren't using it.
 
Was having a hell of a time trying to play non-steam games that were picky about wanting the player 1 controler until I found out that was what was happening. Part of it is Windows shoddyness but steam is equally to blame since that problem has been around for ages and only still is because both Microsoft and Steam haven't been arsed to fix their end of it.

Well tbh since Coco kept her other persona semi active during the time at hololive too I daresay we'll find out if she does anything of that nature once any contracts run out. That said I don't see her making an agency as a specific thing for disgruntled Holos, it just seems like the kind of thing she'd be good at if she wanted to.
