Godzilla has way more to him than his atomic breath, claws/biting. He has more movement options thanks to being amphibious. He can regenerate and is pretty much invincible.

    straight from the Godzilla wiki

“Godzilla is amphibious: it has a preference for traversing Earth's hydrosphere when in hibernation or migration, can breathe underwater  and is described in the original film by the character Dr. Yamane as a transitional form between a marine and a terrestrial reptile.

Godzilla is shown to have great vitality: it is immune to conventional weaponry thanks to its rugged hide and ability to regenerate, and as a result of surviving a nuclear explosion, it cannot be destroyed by anything less powerful. It is an electromagnetic pulse-producing organ in its body which generates an asymmetrical permeable shield making it impervious to all damage except for a short period when the organ recycles.”

the only thing Kong really has on Godzilla is that he vastly more intelligent than any other kaiju, including Godzilla.

yeah, Godzilla has to zone.  If Kong gets the paws on him then it's GGPO Godzilla.

I'd love it if Soul Sacrifice Delta got a remake on today's systems....it's such a shame it was shackled to the Vita...a lot of people missed out on one of the greatest games ever made, imo....this was fresh on my mind since I charged up one of my Vitas and played recently.

One thing in particular I loved was that recurring idea of sacrifice.... the big example of this was the top-rank "ultimate" spells which were called "Black Rites".... I like that idea that ultimate, potential game-changer spells like that come with a heavy cost to the user.  Each of those had some kind of harsh penalty that happens if you cast it... like "Infernus" leaves you with defense being cut in half.. and there was another one that causes you to constantly bleed to death afterwards, others where you become crippled (no more fast/evasive moves) or even blinded (you can still see but the vision is terribly limited).  It forces the player to carefully consider when to use such magic, if at all.  You could only fix these consequences with a resource called "Lacrima".  Early on this is much more of a big deal because a new player won't have a lot of that resource built up...so you may use it as a new character and just kinda be fucked over for quite some time.

"Black Rites are powerful moves that the player gains throughout the game. In exchange for being so powerful, they have restrictions on when and how often they can be used. In order for the option to use a Black Rite to even appear as an option, the player must first take a significant amount of damage, and upon using the Black Rite, the player will then be inflicted with a negative effect (which varies based on the Black Rite). A Black Rite can only be used once a quest and will then need to be restored using Lacrima." Original:

Delta was everything the first was but better, so the original isn't even necessary, imo.  Words can't do it justice how much I adore this game.   If I made a "Top 100" favorite games list, Delta is at least in the top 10 range for me.

I've been watching more and more of these arcade cabinet videos on youtube... I'm really tempted to get one of those "megacade" setups...though I'm still tempted to get an Arcade 1up machine out of pure convenience, since you can get those immediately from any Walmart....just yesterday, I checked again, halfway inclined to buy one, but I didn't see either one I would've bought---TMNT and the Mortal Kombat machine (the MK one includes the original, part 2 and Ultimate 3.)
My main thing would be those CPS 1 and 2 games... since certain ones will NEVER be officially released again.  (e.g. Aliens vs. Predator; there is no hope for this due to licensing... this 1 game was the main reason I modded my PSP.)

edit--the only thing of note they had was the Pacman one...which of course did NOT have Ms. Pacman included 👎 (it's looking like we'll never see an official re-release of Ms. Pacman on anything ever again due to the mess with the royalties and trademark there; fortunately I at least have it as a 360-era Live Arcade game currently.)

One little nitpick that always irked me about the home versions of Mortal Kombat II... a reason for having the actual arcade game... that little bass sound after the announcer says "Fatality.".  it is not present in any home version as far as I know...
You hear it as the the word "Fatality" drips.  For years it bugged me that we just didn't get that little audio detail in the home versions.

edit---another missing thing; the long scream was also absent from the SNES version I remember; I don't remember if the Genesis version didn't have it but it's doubtful, since audio in Genesis games was generally inferior anyway.  The most common situation people remember the long scream was when characters were being knocked into the pit.  On SNES they just played a regular scream over and over as the character falls.

riddle me this O' faithful viewer:

why is it that they were able to find a better redhead wig for a character that didn't need it (Batwoman) than they did for a character that did need it (Starfire)?

yep.  Yellow Flash slapped this craziness properly and now I'm on the hunt for more reviewers.  Until then I will leave you with this small piece of wisdom.

Don't know about other platforms but on the eShop, Cyber-Shadow is on sale for $14.99 and you can preorder it at that price until Jan 25th. Game looks freaking dope and I can't wait to play it.

yeah at this point it's foolish to get them anywhere else, imo... as with most other products, Walmart continues to beat everyone on price.  I miss those days of it being open 24 hours though...that was a huge advantage over everything else that they just dropped recently in the past 2 years or so... it still irks me.  I'm one of those people that wakes up at strange early morning hours like that, so it was always convenient to know I could go buy whatever at 4:25 am on a random Thursday if I wanted.

I'm starting to see joycons in the store again, but at this point I'm going with the cheaper solution of either trying to fix the drift problem myself, or ordering replacement analog sticks.  So far, the use of isopropyl alcohol seems to have worked for now... I keep worrying it will just go right back to drifting at any moment though...

I didn't watch it directly, but I enjoyed the weekly roast sessions by various youtube channels last season.  The show is pretty ridiculous and low in the ratings even by CW standards....and somehow, someone in power over there I guess force-pushed it to a 2nd season... so the unintended hilarity shall continue.  Apparently some critics are already ragging on how bad the new one is too.

Memorable shit from last season---there was a moment when Batwoman got hit by a truck...but all that did was KO her for a while so she could get captured.  She woked up later and of course was still in good enough condition to kick people's asses.  The great thing is....one might assume when you tell them this that she had her bat-suit on, so that would absorb some damage of being hit by a large vehicle like that....but nope.  She was just in regular clothes on her motorcycle at the time...and she was ok after that. 🤣

I'm betting there isn't any kind of explanation as to why this new girl can easily kick ass like any other "bat-family" character....at least Kate has a military background, so that would lend some legitimacy to a character like that doing well in physical combat situations.  This new girl may just be a "regular" person with no fight training....that we're to believe can easily beat up several armed thugs like it's no problem. 😆
