Theme this year is Smash Melee, 8 bit Big Band is going to be there and the 1ups have also been announced to be there as well.  If you can't be there for one reason or another then I'm pretty sure they'll put the concerts up on twitch like they did last year.

Beats of Rage is really good.  The arrangements are pretty straight forward with a slower tempo and more bass.  If you like SoR music I'd give it a listen.

New Distant Worlds CD got put up on Sittingonclouds.  It's a 35th anniversary CD...most of the tracks have been on previous Distant Worlds albums but I'm imagining that they're a different arrangement/ play of those themes.

I have tickets to a performance in November out of town for Distant Worlds. You have absolutely no idea how stoked I am to hear Final Fantasy tunes played by an actual orchestra!

Kinda Jelly!  You enjoy that!  I've heard Distant Worlds is pretty magical and if its anywhere near as magical as that LoZ concert I went to then it's going to make you have feels.

I didn't take a whole lot of photos at the performance, but hearing Answer from FFXIV performed live, along with One Winged Angel at the very end blew my goddamned mind.

Final Fantasy XI and XIV have music that I'm only familiar with through Distant Worlds or through remixes people have made through OCR.  My favorite track that I got introduced to between the 2 has been "Distant Worlds".  Susan Calloway's voice blew me away when I first heard it on one of the Distant World albums.  I should probably drop the music from both those games into my playlist cause I always hear people giving the ost for both of those games high praises.

 

I had placed this guy's classical guitar arrangments in my watch laters and I finally got to them.  He's pretty solid!  Definitely like his "Dire Dire Docks".

Rock album with Castlevania 3 as the focus coming soon

Listening Party coming 12/10.  People that I'm aware of that will be part of the album are Adam Henry (Stemage's Brother),  Ro Panuganti, Stemage, Mega Beardo, Housethegrate (haven't seen this name in a MINUTE), Snappleman (this one too), RichaadEB, Yes, Mayhem, Mustin, Danimal Cannon, Viking Guitar,  and The Tiberian Sons (just recently found out about this group through listening to Jesse's Auditorium.  It's actually Frank Klepacki's band and he was the one who composed some songs for Command & Conquer.)

I can't speak for everyone but I like chip tunes and I'm pretty sure Reg does too.  I think Chadouken likes some as well.  Not 100% on Chad though.
