Good. I think a lot of people dont' even bother to ask the older folks what it is THEY really want. Is it your step mom's mom or your dad's?

 

We're going to see my grandmother when we go back to NY for Christmas because she wants us to come over, and unfortunately, I have a feeling it might be the last time I see her. I already lost my other grandmother this year and didn't get to see her between covid shit and my aunt she was living with having breast cancer and being on treatment and thus real susceptible to illness.

ah, as usual on Friday...another Ancient Aliens marathon is at hand... I often wonder how many people are "in the closet" about liking this show...because obviously people ARE watching it.... I saw alien orbs of light several times. They moved in a way that would be impossible for any mainstream human made aircraft. They moved like as if they were weightless. One drew a word in the sky. Some teleported. There were three of them revolving around each other.

sheeeitttt, that freschetta pizza was on point today.  I'm telling ya, store-bought pizza can be pretty damn great if you cook it up right with an oven, then toast the bottom a bit on a buttered-up pan.  I had some general "italian seasoning" for it as well, along with a little parmesan.

 

but now it is time for a Terrible Superpower Choice...

A) the MODOK deal---you have incredible psychic abilities...but like the MODOK character; the result is that you become a silly-looking giant head with tiny arms and legs.

or

B) Immortality.... but with nothing else backing it up. ---so theoretically, you could get cut into several pieces, and be stuck living like that for eternity...or perhaps you get trapped somewhere...forever unable to escape since you don't have super strength or teleportation, etc.

 

I'd have to go with the MODOK deal.  At least you could also use psychic manipulation to make others think you still look normal.  I imagine some people would eventually become depressed after a while of living like that... knowing that you have to use your powers to make sure others don't see how you truly look.  Immortality without anything else like invincibility or at least super-healing...sounds more like a curse when you think about what could happen to such a being....you'd also have to worry about what to do in a few billion years when it's time for the sun to hit "red giant" status, probably burning this entire planet into nothing.

Funnily enough this is kinda Sabretooths situation right now in Hickmans X-Men run. He broke the mutant law of “Kill no Man” during a mission with Toad and Mystique. 
 

Since they couldn’t kill him as it would make mutants question Xavier’s message of “All mutants are welcome regardless of what they’ve done” or exile him due to what he knows about Krakoa they just suspended him in a pit within Krakoa for life.
