KaneJones
In short. I was thinking of buying a Horipad Pro Xbox, since my current controller is quite old and starting to fail. Unfortunately, the stock ran out in the gaming store, but now they have the Xbox Series X controller available, although it's more expensive. Which controller is better? If the Series X is better, I have no problem spending more money, but I also have no problem waiting for the store to have the Horipad again if it turns out to be a better option. Disclaimer: I play on PC, and I only use controller for fighting games so I will appreciate the D-Pad more than the analog sticks. Quote Link to comment
DoctaMario
I know someone who uses the Hori pad and really likes it. I have a Moga Xbox style pad Ive been using recently and while it's a good controller, the dpad leaves something to be desired. I've thought about getting something with a hybrid dpad like the series X controller. What does the hori pad look like? All I can find is the one that goes with the Switch. Is that the one you're looking at? Quote Link to comment
Pair of Rooks
i have 2 Hori Fighting Commander pads and am mosly happy with them. Over time though the buttons start stciking on the older model, and the younger model the dpad is missing diagnoal inputs. So... idk. Quote Link to comment
misterBee
I think the official Xbox controller is quite good, but if you're going to go third party I'd suggest the 8BitDo line of controllers. I don't think you'll beat the dpad on this one: https://www.8bitdo.com/m30-wired-controller-xbox/ Darc_Requiem and Pair of Rooks 2 Quote Link to comment
