SNK has to be the most embarrassing marketing out there. How are you going to get a legend to animate three teasers to hype up the new season and drop this? I mean I know why, but it looks like shit. What could have been something super hype with returning fan favorites dropping month after month is now just another mocking point thanks to this decision. Jesus.

In other news, I did end up buying City of the Wolves recently due to the recent sale. Don’t know what I’m doing, but I’ve been having a ton of fun with it. I know Hecatom owns it. Anyone else plays this?

@BornWinnerI actually bought in a Steam sale for half off months ago. I've never booted it up though. The guest characters leave a sour taste in my mouth. This isn't even because of my dislike of characters. It's just how egregiously bad they are. I mean do I like having Fatal Fury characters in mainline Street Fighter? No. Do I like the characters themselves? Yes. Do the characters actually fit the IP? Yes. Then you have SNK. They put a soccer/futbol player and a DJ in FatalFury. WTF.

@Darc_RequiemYeah I don’t blame you. SNK might be the worst when it comes to guests in fighting games. There’re some that are thematically perfect (Hibiki and Baiken in SamSho, SF in Fatal Fury), some that are thanks for allowing SNK characters to crossover (Arthur and Skullomania in SNK Heroines, SF characters), and then there are some that was clearly mandated by higher ups and no one fucks with them (Gongsu in SamSho, the rapist and the DJ in Fatal Fury).

Ronaldo and Salvatore are so fucking stupid and imo, a new low in fighting game guests. No one wanted this. No one thought “This fighting game is cool, but you know what would make it better? Being able to play Ronaldo!”. And we see what happens with decisions like these after the initial reactions. No one even plays them. All those resources, marketing, and appeasing to the Saudi Prince led to those two being the lowest played characters in the game. Who would’ve thought a futbol player and some nobody DJ would bring in no new fans? What a stupid decision for what is a solid game.

A lot of retards nowdays call ai anything and everything.

For example, Hatsune Miku and the vocaloids were called ai slop by idiots that think vocaloids are ai generated voices/songs

Same with Kizuna Ai, because her name is Ai a pun on love and Artificial Intelligence due her being a vtuber with the persona of being an AI trying to connect with humans.

Coincidentally both getting labeled as AI slop when they were added to fortnite.
