With the way things are working out right now I'm starting to think that Granolah may not actually be the 'Big Bad' for this arc...depends on what Toyotoro/Toriyama decided to do with this trio group if they happen to get their hands on the Dragonballs.

I personally think the Heaters are the big bads of this arc, in particular Gas, who they said could surpass Freeza and still wanted smoke with Granolah despite knowing how powerful he was. I'm probably wrong, but I feel he was singled out for a reason

Also he got the biggest W in the franchise by landing Bulma, the richest and the most technologies capable inventor on his planet as his spouse. All this and he doesn't even have to go all way of the house husband too. All those Ls are just karmic balance.

Toriyama forgot Tien's waifu. And Krillin is now better with his signature technique than him. Krillin gets a blonde bombshell that does not age. Vegeta gets the worlds smartest and richest woman. Hell even Yamcha has baseball. Tien gets a dojo full of scrubs and a stalker named Yurin. He's gotten zilch since stalling Cell.
