man, this shit is annoying with Tommy's show so far today... first of all the dude is late, then it's not even moving on to the main topic in the title of the video... he's forever hung up on this topic about an interview he did where people confronted him about his beef with Kevin Samuels.... mannnn I don't care about that shit; I wanted to laugh about how women are doomed by their poor choices in mate selection....hopefully someone will clip out the actual relevant show topic later then; I'm out of there.

Currently on Antenna TV network---a Family Ties marathon.... I mentioned before I was never a big fan of this one.  The only thing I noticed on that show was that "Mallory" (Justine Bateman) was alright/cute.... I always considered this to be the weak link in NBC's otherwise invincible Thursday night prime lineup back in the day.

lawd have mercy she's live with her fine self...

...I'd eat the HELL out of that....

Grandma died about an hour ago. I finally got into see her last Friday at a hospital she'd been taken to because she'd fallen and broken her hip, and I was there for a couple hours even though she couldn't talk and was pretty doped up from all the painkillers they had her on due to how much pain she was in. Her breathing was pretty labored sounding. I put on some big band music and showed her some pictures I brought of all of us, and of her and grandpa when they were young, and while she was heavily medicated and couldn't talk, her eyes were open and she seemed to react to some of it. I'm just glad I got to see her, because I didn't get to see my other grandma last year before she died.

Sorry to hear that and sorry for your loss.

Damn.  Sorry to hear that man.

My condolences. May she rest in peace.

heh, sheeeittttt that reminds me again that one of the best parts of life was "summer break" during childhood... you have an insane amount of free time to do whatever you want.  It's just good times all day every day.... well, almost---some of us had the burden of being forced to attend church every Sunday, of course. 😞  haha in a typical black family, at least in the southern U.S., you don't really have a choice in the matter on that.  At my old church, at least we had some cute girls in there, so there was 1 silver lining.

my usual "summer break" schedule, back in those good ol' days:

  • some MTV in the morning; check out what videos are on..
  • USA Cartoon Express---I think this started 6 or 6:30 am CST...at the time they might be showing something like Snorks, Pacman, Jabberjaw, Grape Ape, various other Hanna-Barberra toons, etc.  This cartoon-block of shows usually ended by 9 am CST, I think...then USA switched to some stuff that didn't interest me, like 700 Club or Barretta.
  • So at about 9 am---that might be video game time there... or playing with my toys, or just random outside time on my bike, or I watch a movie on VHS, etc.
  • At 10 am Central, it's time for The Price is Right, of course.  Young & the Restless was on after that so it was back to gaming or other stuff then.
  • Early afternoon, a couple of syndicated shows would be on that I liked; Dennis the Menace and sometimes The Honeymooners.  This would be my lead-in to the afternoon cartoons that normally started around 3pm....and of course depending on where exactly in the 80s/90s you're talking about, this could be Super Mario Bros., or GI Joe and Transformers, Silverhawks, etc.... MASK at 4 pm, then Gimme A Break at 4:30...and Mom gets home shortly after that so dinner time would be soon.
  • Prime time would be either network shows or more video games, or a movie....HBO would show some stale shit during the day (e.g. "Out of Africa", or random Oscar-bait movies most people don't care about if they're being honest), but prime time is when they show the actual cool/popular stuff, of course.
  • On the weekends---this might be time spent at an arcade or comic book shop for me.

...and this is for a couple of months.... Summer breaks as a kid were the absolute shit, man.  I never understood those kids that were actually excited to go back in the Fall...to me, those people were the real weirdos.

One good thing about being an adult (pre covid) is...

5 pm Saturday mass. Fuck getting up at 630 to go to 8 am Sunday mass lol. I also get my gas after that so I don't forget.

Summer now just means the same same old only you're sweating more.

Best thing about summer is movies and memorial day /July 4th get togethers (pre covid).

As an adult ,my favorite time period is from Thanksgiving to New Years!

Cool weather

Holiday food/treats. (My mother makes the most food during this time.)

Seeing relatives you haven't seen in a while

Xmas tree/light decorations around town

Note:  I wanted to add an image so I typed in,"Fear Porn" to google.

......................Don't type in Fear porn to google. It's WAY worse than a long gas line.  😱

Carla Bellucci has been cashing in on her pregnancy – and now she plans to make money by live-streaming her birth.
The mum-of-three, who shot to fame after admitting to blagging a nose job on the NHS, has been offered £10,000 to film herself in labour.

y'know, it has always been nearly impossible to "gross me out", but the visual of childbirth is the most repulsive thing I've ever seen in life.  I still remember that dreadful day when the teacher showed us a child-birthing video in Health/P.E. class... I think that was 7th or 8th grade or so...  I eventually had to look away.

They say this changes if it's *your* child being born, but I'm skeptical of that.  That visual is somethin' else, man... I'd probably rather wait until he or she is "here" in the world and cleaned up a bit before I look....hahah it is a complete horror show, that visual...

I’ve never understood why someone would want to watch their loved one being torn apart by a vagina burster. I mean, yeah, be there for them, but not at that end.

The fact people use to, and likely still do record their children’s birth is absolutely disgusting to me.

Surprisingly, I'm only recently getting into this "Fresh & Fit" podcast... they have some seriously HOT ass girls on there lately... like check out the one on the left next to Myron... and the Italian girl next to her... 😮

...and of course they have some pretty juicy topics to discuss on this show... this should be another good one.

*heh, I never went back to Tommy's show last night; I can't stand it when a show takes forever to get to the damn topic that is the main title of the video... the shit still irks me; dude spent forever talking about something entirely different...

EDIT---anyway; unfortunately I just noticed the abundance of tattoos though, on Vanessa (girl on the left)... most unfortunate.  It's not necessarily a full disqualification for me, but that IS a serious point deduction on my hotness scale/evaluation.

EDIT 2--- that fine ass Italian girl speaking italian----time-stamped here.... wooo, lawd have mercy
