i was also thinking about the robot in robocop. how it had a character arc. the director gave it a character arc. but a fucked up one.

it went from being hideous, menacing, scary af, murderous. rampaging monster in its 1st scene. where it obliterates that young ceo in front of horrored peeps.

to 2nd scene. dick jones office. it becomes a bumbling clumsy idiot that falls down the stairs like grandma. with the help i cant get up sad state.

squeeling like a pig throwing a 3 year old tempter tantraum joke of a enemy.

to its 3rd scene where robocop just explodes it instantly cuz its now a weak silly jobber that cant go down stairs. weak as granny. he doesnt even bother talking to it. just. boom. gone. shoo. away you annoying fly type of dismissiveness. robot aint even whole. just legs and falls limp dicked.

isnt that interesting how the director verhoven whatevs his dutch name is. he put detail like that in. 

you went from scared of it. to laughing at it.

span of 2 hours. thats good film making right there. heres a dollar.

Welp i had probably the dumbest conversation im gonna have all week.

I was ubering last night, i always wear my facemask because im trying to limit my likelihood of catching anything..not just covid. I dont ever tell people they have to wear a mask. legally they can do whatever they want. Sometimes people feel guilty and tell me they are vaccinated or ask if they should wear a mask. if they got one i said id prefer they wear one but its honestly their choice. otherwise i dont say anything about it

 

So this big roided dude gets in asks me how i like ubering. I tell him its cool , relatively easy. then he starts talking about covid , which im ready to roll my eyes at.....then it got so bad. He starts tellin me he refuses to take the vaccine. Even though he got it really bad. I was just like ,well thats your choice. He then tells me...he was in coma for two fucking weeks because of it. He told me he had to relearn to fucking walk lmfao. But this steroided ass is coughing a lung in the car and def has long covid lmfao....couldnt be me. god aint catchin me in an coma.

A 45 year-old Boston man was arrested after alledgedly attempted to set fire to the Satanic Temple in Salem late Friday night, police and an official at the temple said.

 

the Satanic Temple is a peaceful group looking to reform American society, which they believe has been warped by Christianity — while a dude wearing a shirt that just says ‘GOD’ on it tried to burn down the organization’s headquarters.

Yup, according to the Boston Globe, Daniel Lucey now faces charges of arson, interfering with civil rights, and vandalism to a place of worship, according to Salem PD. Because the Satanic Temple is a full-on religion. So technically, this was an attempted church burning. Guess he’s a black metal musician at heart?

 

The fire was called in at 10:49 p.m., “before it was able to fully engulf” the Temple. According to Temple head Lucien Greaves, the hardcore God stan “dumped an accelerant on The Satanic Temple headquarters and lit it on fire.” Greaves said that the damage was “not insignificant,” however, as the first “went up really fast.”

 

 

WTF is the country coming to when you can't even worship Satan at a safe place without some Christian trying to burn it down!!!!!!

For most people, a hellish scenario like that is a wake up call. But some just dig in deeper. I don't get it either, but that's just the way things are.

 

Best I can guess is the usual shit. People want to be "special" and above the sheep so much it doesn't matter what happens to them. As long as they can feel like they know something everyone else doesn't (even if it's bullshit), they can soldier on.

Guess I'm too physically fragile for Police training. Not sure what I can do for a career I can like for the first time. I rather just do self employment. Settle for it at the very least. Working for someone was always more like slavery to me and to put up with more messy people that can determine your longtivity there.

 

Those hobby casino games at Harrah's Casino though, BlackJack, Poker, and etc, are just much better nowadays for money and amusement. Even the damn slot machines. Lol. Gotta be careful with that.

I would like to, but they've fired me before my two week notice was up a few months ago sadly. Had trouble getting hired ever since. Health problems after catching COVID early this year. I wasn't the same since. Permanent vitamin deficiency where I'm supplement dependent now.

 

I only get accepted with gig events/productions. If only I could get a break in this field, due to the cost of living atp.

I made keto chicken nuggies 

 

recipe and info

1 can of chicken (4.5oz, drained) 
1 Egg
1/2 Cup of shredded cheese (I used low fat cheddar but whatever you want to use should be fine) 
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Additional seasoning of your choice

 

OPTIONAL: 
1/2 teaspoon of breadcrumbs/panko (This is likely unnecessary as using low-fat cheese makes a not so great binder since it melts at a higher temperature and in a different way. My first batch turned out not great due to A lot of the egg cooking out. So they weren’t as firm as i expected. I added the extra binder to my second batch and did not have this issue) 

 

Line your air fryer bed with tinfoil. Roll mixture into balls and place them in air fryer evenly separated. This recipe makes 5-6 nuggets. 

Airfry for 6 minutes at 400. Flip over and then air fry for 6 more.

 

(Note: I also recommend VERY lightly coating the tin foil with cooking spray as the nuggets had a tendency to be stubborn coming off the foil. I also haven’t tried it yet but you might get same results by using a cupcake tin and conventional oven instead of air fryer)

You know of Terrorizer, good. So in the late 80's Terrorizer released their first album but they were not successful commercially even though their music was and is one of the top showmanship of grindcore music. Music was fast and aggressive. Barney from Napalm Death, another important grindcore band, did the vocals. After their breakup Sandoval joined Morbid Angel. They got back together during the 2000's, but I haven't checked out Caustic Attack yet. They played some shows for free, one in my city but I didn't go see them because it was during a week day and I wasn't feeling it, I was an idiot

 

Anyway, check out their first album and see how you like it.

Is anyone following the sf6 news? I have a question about simple controls

 

If hadoukens are just a button in simple controls... Is their a buffer that makes it basically even between normal inputs. 

 

Like can someone just spam hadoukens faster in simple vs someone who did inputs real fast?

There's limited information about it so far but it seems you can throw fireballs at the same rate in classic as modern controls. Modern control basically sets the game up as a four button fighter: light, medium, heavy, and special. I assume this is going to be one version of fireball and that's it.

 

Some people who played say the input buffer is similar to sfv so spamming fireballs won't be very difficult in classic control mode. As for fireballs being good... we will see.

he had alot of good insights. like he fact simple inputs dont give you access to all the movesets. Thats kinda fuckin weird but also i guess as he put it..its training wheels for fgc. so it eases my fears a bit....more or less if you get yo ass beat by simple controls you suck, because they dont even have all the moves to use lol.

I am in Bangalore, India since yesterday. 

It is 230 pm June 15 as I write this(the future for my American homeskillets)

I haven't visited in 18 years. I am with my mom.  We are attending one of my cousin's wedding.

 

We went from Tampa to Miami, Miami to Doha Qatar, Qatar to India by American Airlines for the first part and then Qatar Airways for the last two segments.  

 

Hope everyone is doing well.
