Calliope is my favorite and I always catch any of her streams with zatsu potential. Yesterday she started a Jump King endurance stream and hopped on a voice chat that any holomem could join at any time. She started at 4am for me so I left it streaming on my phone and went to sleep. I woke up to her, Baelz and IRyS having the best zatsu collab I've seen. The collab went on for 5 hours without a dull moment. I spent the day watching the VOD between work. On that video she is imitating the ambulant fruit vendors call style that are very common over all latin america. Hecatom Posted October 18, 2021 Share Posted October 18, 2021 (edited) Like I said on a comment on youtube, they make me feel old as fuck, when inuyasha started airing i was already around my 20s, and my 1st animes, all of them were made around the 70s and 80s Mazinger Z, Rose of Versailles, Robot Festival, Peline, Heydi, Candy Candy, and many other mecha, magical girls and historical series of the time, plus other generes, tbh, is kind of hard to know what was my first anime, since most shows airing back in the day were anime, this was because in most of latin america, it was cheaper for the tv stations to get the rights for anime than for cartoons, plus they got most of them in bulks. Not to mention that historically, outside novelas and comedy shows, most of the media we consumed was/is done abroad, USA, japan, china, taiwan, etc, which made the dub industry to boom around here. No joke, we had chinese martial arts series/novelas, japanese and korean dramas, anime, european animations, etc. And since we only had one tv back in the day, after certain hour, my mother reigned supreme over what was going to be watched, so we grow up watching novelas/dramas, etc What was funny is that while outside the most popular cartoons like He-man, Gi-Joe, Silver Hawk, Jem, that were brought over here, the stations did put money into bringing the popular series, like Knigh Rider, which i watched religiously.
