I was thinking something similar but it's by far the lowest watched Star Wars show on Disney+. If it's finale had 67% more viewers it still would be last. Only thing that gives me pause is would Kennedy want two of these on her record? Quote

I hope not. It'll give these content creators another 15 hours of content for a two line paragraph. 1 hour ago, Darc_Requiem said: Willow would like to have a word with you. It wasn't just Willow that was removed though. It was part of a move to (allegedly) reduce the tax bill. The Acolyte will have a much larger impact on the platform that that show ever did. . . . it's 2024 though, who's to say how it'll play out. It is good to see that all of the major franchises appear to be doing some sort of "course correction". That's quite honestly the only reason why I would see it being removed (which is the same as why Willow was removed). EDIT From a certain point of view. . . . Hecatom Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Yeah. I think is safe to assume that the cost of the series and the terrible reception will prompt Disney to memory hole it, lol. If they are even removing the merchandise, it is very likely that they didn't sell shit for it. Quote
TheInfernoman Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 If I can I'll try to go to our company discount store to see I they're offloading theme park Acolyte merch there. Quote

Don't have D+ any more but I've heard nothing but good things about it. Unfortunately it's getting "Solo'd", the previous product was so off putting that people aren't giving it a chance. Also can somone explain Andor's absurd budget? They've spent 645 millon for two seasons. Andor season 1 is the 5th most watched Star Wars show on D+. Mandolorian S1 is #1, Mando S2 is #2, Boba Fett is #3, Obi Wan is #4, and Mando S3 is #6. All these combined has a budget of $535 Million. I've heard nothing but good things about Andor but there is no way the viewership numbers justify that expense. Disney has to be laundering money. Some of these budgets are insane. OPTIMUS124 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Skeleton Crew sticks the landing. Another show understands how to be a part of the galaxy rather than constantly referencing it. Easily in the top 3 post-Disney media outings thus far. RSG3 1 Quote

Just like how Andor was trashed because of The Book of BS and the mediocre Kenobi. Also . . . this is the perfect meme for that show. Spoiler Quote

Darc_Requiem Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 (edited) I happened to watch Age of Adaline again and I'm stunned that they didn't get Anthony Ingruber to play Han Solo. It was a bigger miss than I remembered. How does some random movie go. "Hey this guy looks, sounds, and had the mannerisms of a young Harrison Ford, let cast him as young Harrison Ford" and Disney go nope. The incompetence. Wait....unless I'm a mistaken and that's actually @Chadoukenon the left 😉 Edit: Just found out he body doubled for Harrison on Dial of Destiny. Maybe...should have I don't know. Had him play Han Solo in Solo... Edited January 16 by Darc_Requiem Chadouken 1 Quote
