Regarding to the refunds of 2xko.
Is confirmed that everyone will get their money, well, kind of.

You will get the credit completely refunded to your accounts, but still.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what Multiversus did.

We are getting the money back and keep the stuff we bought, all while also they are unlocking everything that wasnt part of a paid content set.

The game is kept online indefinitely, and from previous games that have been sunset, at least we know they have a good track record of keeping them online for a long time.

I assume that in part is because they will charge 40 bucks for everything that was released for the game so far, which imo, is fair.

By refunding the game and keeping its servers online it generates enough good will that people could be willing to buy the bundle down the line, or in my case, just use the refund to buy the rest of the stuff.

On ~~steam~~ pc is expected that by november 1st they will start rolling out the refunds, I assume it will be around the same time for consoles.

IMO. this is the best case scenario, you keep the stuff, the game is not dead dead, since you can still play it online, and you get the money back, and if you want you can still get everything with the refunds, since if you invested at least on one set,k is more than enough to net you everything.

My only complain, is not getting more swimsuits 😢

I saw a tweet about this game come across my feed that was interesting so I tried looking for the source of where it came from.

Came from an IGN interview:

IGN: Following up on this being a Switch 2 exclusive, is there more you can share about how and why you went with Nintendo, a little bit more detail about how the partnership came about? I know you said that you pitched this and it's pretty much the idea from the start.

Miyazaki: In terms of the reason that we initially decided to go with Nintendo, we had had an opportunity to discuss the idea for the game with them and I think they seemed very excited and very receptive to the idea, they seemed very forward thinking in terms of how to do it. Before considering the business aspect of it, that alone was something that I found very appealing and gave me a lot more reassurance for moving forward with this.

Of course the game isn't out yet so there are more things to consider, but in terms of the relationship currently and how we think it's going, up until this point – the systems and the overall ruleset of the game are very unique, and I think having someone who can constantly give us feedback, support, additional ideas, and the balancing first of all because these features are quite complex and difficult – having this relationship is definitely key to that. Also with the complexity of the systems, the onboarding tutorials and making sure players understand how the game works and how to succeed in the game is something we've historically not been super great at conveying instantly. We've definitely just dropped players in and hoped they would figure it out. In this case, Nintendo is definitely the right partner for better conveying that information in a way that is understandable to the player; it definitely suits their strengths.

Have they said if previous battle pass content will be in the $40 bundle? I can't find an answer online anywhere.

Yes, everything, bundles, battle passes, etc
Both what was already released and what was worked on and planned for the future with the upcoming dlc chars
