aaaand here's the 100% confirmation

Edit:  So right off the bat...I gotta say the animations for this game are better than Nick All Stars.  Attacks are pretty readable.  And it's really crazy how much having voices makes a difference.  I think this actually has a really good chance at being something.

Beat me to, production values matter. No disrespect to the Nick developers, they were on a tight budget. But I think Multi Versus looks legit fun with the emphasis on team battles, giving your teammates stat buffs mid match or catch them from falling to their death seems dope

Though I am cautious, it looks pretty fun. The characters having their voices goes a long way in presentation. Some of the moves benefitting the teammate in 2v2 is cool and unique in this game. With it being free to play, I hope the monetization isn’t too crazy and the leveling up only applies to cosmetics, not gameplay.

 

Also the skins look great. It’s something I wish a lot more characters in Smash had.

Or Just don't use em in serious competitions if that's the case. I'm cautiously optimistic

Who cares about any of this malarkey being serious for competition? Pretty sure when when George R.R. Martin was writing Game of Thrones he thought to himself "Damn, this 9 year is totally gonna body batman in a video game someday...I just hope there aren't micro-transactions and other stuff  because that would ruin the whole thing."

 

Smashers already picked up and dropped the Nickelodeon game. Doesn't matter what you do to your game, they won't leave their nintendo hole for anything.

Well Lebron James was rumored to be a character and their willingness to use live action characters like Arya and apparently Gandalf, I could see a Space Jam 2 stage happen with him coming.

This is so cool to me. The effort to get all of these voice actors, some very iconic to the character, shows me a level of polish most Smash games don’t have or receive. Seems like the publisher is willing to put in some money in order to make this good and I’m excited for it.

Speaking of that, of all the characters, Arya is on the bottom of the list of chars i would have chosen as the 1rst representative, assuming they will add more in the future. being honest.

Even with the Free to Play aspect, Multi Versus looks pretty tight. In spite of the issues I have with Pokemon UNITE, I've still had a lot of fun with it. So I'm, cautiously optimistic about Multi Versus. 

 

Played some more Knights of the Old Republic on my days off. The lower areas of Taris are no joke. Mofos are walking up to me in and one shotting my scrub cheeks.

We have the 2 movies coming one after the other, and not adding them would be a wasted opportunity.

Hell, they can go ham adding Keanu Reeves char like his version of Constantine as well, Bill & Ted, etc

BTW, i hit lvl 100 on the battle pass the day before yesterday, so around 2 weeks after i started playing

That is the costume they give you at the end, which tbh, i dont really like, lol.

I just want a cheerleader costume and a Sailor Moon like intro, they are not even rare, but the game seems to know that i want those and keeps giving me anything but those 2, i have a lot of what could be considered exotic outfits and intros that i dont want lol

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX world tournament announced

 

 

The tournament, “Monster Koushien World Battle,” marks the first time the “Monster Koushien” tournament series is run outside of Japan. The first tournament was held at Tokyo Game Show in 1997, and has become the representative tournament for the franchise. The global event will allow any player that purchases Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX to participate by raising their monsters in-game and uploading their data to a special server to see who are the world’s top players.

 

“I am planning to hold a world tournament like the ones we have been running in Japan,” said executive producer Kazumi Fujita in a press release. “We have never run a tournament like this outside of Japan. This is an endeavor to allow everyone around the world to take part and decide who is number one in the world. Since the original release of Monster Farm in Japan, and Monster Rancher globally, I have always dreamed of running a worldwide tournament. I am very excited to see this dream become a reality!”
