I hated the New Adventures of Batman's redesigns at first but learned to accept everything but the Joker's new face and a few other characters. Batman Beyond definitely felt a lot better and more unique in how it handled things

I can't remember what the name of that character was in He-Man but it does get really annoying with the trope of a character having an completely unreasonable reaction to a situation especially when they're not predispositioned to be incredibly selfish and not once be able to take their personal feelings out of the equation and look at something in objective manner.  EVEN MORE GRATING WHEN THEY CONTINUE TO DO IT CONSTANTLY.

that Saturday Morning youtube link was such a cool blast to the past; I've seen some other channels like that before...not sure how they get away with running a channel like that (copyright/trademark-wise; I guess certain old things are old and obscure enough to be "fair use" or whatever at this point).... even most other people from my generation probably would not remember "Groovie Ghoulies"; I liked that one... I only remember it being part of this 1 show airing in syndication in the 80s that had several cartoons on it which included "Fraidy Cat"

 

...ah yes I found it in a quick search; it was 1 block that had cartoon versions of Gilligan, My Favorite Martian, Lassie and others... though the standouts to me as a little kid at the time was the Ghoulies themselves and the antics of Fraidy Cat...

Arcane season 2 is out now on Netflix!  That first episode is awesome, of course....already looking forward to what's next; I'm not usually one to binge an entire season of something in 1 day like most people apparently are these days... I'll get maybe another episode or 2 in later today.

 

Demon Slayer---see, this has become one of the usual anime things that frustrates me... I've come to have less patience for episodes where they aren't getting down to serious business in dealing with the villains of these kinds of stories.  There is only 8 episodes on this latest batch that popped up on Netflix... I've seen 5 now and I suppose this entire thing is a training arc? (*forgot if it's advertised in that way or not; I just jumped straight into things when I saw Netflix finally had new ones)    ...more and more I find myself just fast-forwarding through this bullshit at this point.  In shows like this I just want to skip to the cool fights and serious moments....my tolerance and patience for the goofy shit in between has become increasingly slim over the years.  Five episodes in out of these 8 and not even 1 appearance by that main villain or any of his cohorts....c'mon bruh.

 

*edit---ok at least it's still not even close to the foolishness of Naruto filler episodes...where there was that fight by the waterfall and then NOTHING cool happened forever until Shippuden....but still...

edit 2---ok yeah---it specifically says "Training Arc", I noticed....so about 90% of these few episodes can just be fast-forwarded, imo.... things finally get awesome at the very end on episode 8 though as Muzan shows up and finally does something....but it's frustrating because this is a cliffhanger.
