Reiraku
Yeah, the worst part of this whole thing is Pats fans being as obnoxious as ever bragging about Brady. The only Bucs fan I know was just happy for the team, but the Pats fans are being Pats fans again. Wellman 1 Quote Link to comment

Grimmjow316
Don’t forget to add that the Rays had a chance at a WS trophy. Probably would have pushed to seven it had the manager not switched pitchers. Edited February 8, 2021 by Grimmjow316 DangerousJ 1 Quote Link to comment

Chachi
Chiefs got their asses kicked up front, just as I thought they would. Frustrating seeing everybody picking the Chiefs to cruise as if Mike Remmers wasn't at left tackle. In a perfect world that dude never sees the field after his time in Carolina. Bring in an extra TE/H-back and run it 40 times like you did at Buffalo. Also that Bucs offense is impossible to scheme against. 3 or 4 deep at all skill positions means you can't double team anybody. No Willie Gay means no decent pressure from the LB position. Send a corner/safety? Free jumpballs for Evans and Gronk. Edited February 8, 2021 by Chachi Quote Link to comment

Wellman
Well it looks like I won't have a local professional football team until the XFL comes back. Cal McNair's 'leadership' with his boy Jack has been a plague on this franchise. JJ Watt released Couldn't even get anything from him although I am guessing him going to them directly had a lot to do with that so they don't burn the bridge with one of their best players... Again. Darc_Requiem
So he's going to the Steelers right? Both his brothers are there. Quote Link to comment
Wellman
What most are guessing, them or the Packers since he is WI kid. Also the outside chance he goes to Chicago as his wife does play for their Women's professional soccer team last I heard. Quote Link to comment
globe
I think the Giants did pretty well in free agency. Lots of offensive weapons for Jones. This also puts pressure on Jones, Giants are going to test him. I think they'll have their anwser if he's the guy or not by November. As for the draft I think they'll draft a linemen since everything else is pretty decent. How'd everyone else's teams do in free agency? Quote Link to comment
Darc_Requiem
Biggest weaknesses my team had were QB and WR. The latter has been resolved IMO. Fitzpatrick is a 50/50 QB. Either he's great or he's terrible, there is rarely any in-between. Should be exciting to watch the games either way. Quote Link to comment
Chachi
Chiefs addressed the interior of the offensive line, will probably go OT/edge/WR in the draft Quote Link to comment

Darc_Requiem
So five QBs went in the first round. How many of them will be any good? I'll put the number at 2. It's usually around 50/50 split but teams are pulling their best Dhalsim impersonations and reaching even more than usual. Which two? If don' t know. If I did, I'd be GM 😉 Quote Link to comment
globe
I can't help but feel like it'll be Wilson and Fields that'll falter. Not to knock their ability, but more in the way of the Jets and Bears. Maybe Mac Jones as well. Still I wish for all of them successful careers. Quote Link to comment

Darc_Requiem
I think I may done with the NFL. I can't take the inability to play defense. I think the "roughing" the passer call against Chase Young may be the straw that broke the camel's back. I used to watch football all day Sunday 1pm all the way to the Sunday Night game. Monday Night Football and even Thursday Night Football. Now I can barely get through one game a week. I miss there being defense in football. Now you can't breathe on a receiver or touch QB without it being a penalty. Edited October 3, 2021 by Darc_Requiem purbeast, globe and Chadouken 3 Quote Link to comment

He worked with Gruden in his first stint with the Raiders and was GM with Bucs when Gruden coached there. He's the only one that should have had things going back that far. I can't see Jay, even if he had these, actually turning them over. globe
I honestly think Gruden got the boot so fast because he made fun of Goodell, lmao. Gruden was a mediocre coach in my opinion, it's funny seeing people act like he's one of the best or something. Quote Link to comment
DangerousJ
I'd say Tony Dungy deserves the lions share of credit for the 2003 Tampa Super Bowl win. From what I remember, the defense formation /plays were orchestrated by him and Monte Kiffin. Darc_Requiem 1 Quote Link to comment
Darc_Requiem
Before Dungy took over the Bucs were a laughing stock. He built that team into a contender. Gruden took his team to the Super Bowl and it was an easy win because he was playing his old team and they were running the same offense he taught them. Once Gruden dismantled the team and rebuilt in his image it was trash. Quote Link to comment
