Even though there have been some lopsided series in round 1, the majority of the games have been pretty damn fun to watch.  

 

Even though Denver got bounced 4-1, they said on the broadcast last night that the point difference in the first 4 games combined was 12 points.  Then last night the game went down pretty close to the wire.

 

Sucks there are so many injuries though.  It definitely is part of the reason the Nuggets got swept.  And now Booker is out and Middleton is out and not playing in the series against the Celtics that blows.

 

I also realized how little I know about some of the west teams like Memphis and Utah.  It's been fun watching those teams and learning about these up and comers.

 

And this dunk may be the dunk of the century.

 

 

And then we got this gem lol.

I mean they lost by like 50 points.  The refs aren't the reason they were blown out.  Sure some of those calls were bad/soft but that happens in every NBA game and you could make a 1 minute video like that from practically every game that is played.

Some of the calls on Harden and Embiid I was shaking my head at. So many lean-ins that were called as fouls, you can even see in the clips how the defenders are literally backing away from offense to get away from that. On top of that, this was after that rule change. It's definitely a momentum changer and I think it's a factor worth acknowledging properly in a playoff setting.

Watching Celtics vs Bucks... Grayson Allen will carry Milwaukee through to the championship lololol jk this boy is gonna finish these playoffs with at least 23 broken ankles, you can just tell he is not liked by the other players

 

 

I have a friend who believes Giannis is the best basketball player in the world right now, which was definitely a take I wasn't expecting. Thoughts?

I'm of the opinion Gianiss is the best, it's like, nobody can really stop him. He's a bully in the paint and he has a mid range shot now. He's literally a freak athletically and size wise, hence the nickname 

 

I could be wrong, but that's just the way I see it

After these past few weeks, Giannis is probably the best but I'm not sure for how long. KD under-performed big time this year (which imo makes Giannis the best in the world right now) and it's pretty clear that the next class will be taking over soon. I truthfully believe in the long run that players like Devin Booker, Luka, and Jokic will end up being more refined for much longer than Giannis in the coming years.

Legend has it the Suns have finally gotten off the bus to play Game 7.  Giannis' teammates could have tried to help a brother out. I mean dude had 25 points, 20 rebounds, and 9 assists in a game that wasn't close. He had one of the best series performances in history and his team didn't win. 

 

Side Note: I know Middleton was hurt.

I didn't get "somber" from it. Normally, their NBA material amounts to someone (like "Lebron") screaming, and they're switching it up. Like they do when imitating Doc Rivers.

Great history lesson.  That’s why I said what I said earlier.  Being a fan of this franchise isn’t for the faint of heart and it’s why the cries of “stay humble” shall be summarily laughed at.  Anyone who says that doesn’t know what true humiliation looks like.

At this point I'll hope it's the mavs too.  My issue is with the complete disappearance of the Suns heart, Luka is the man and I still we got him when Coach Kok was there.  Ayton wound up being McDunno's final insult.

I never understood the hate that Jimmy Butler got. Like sure, he got a bit cocky once he rose to super star status, but I think it's well deserved considering his story.

 

He dropped 41 last night, nearly a double double with 9 rebounds.

 

Mavs vs Warriors tonight. Igoudala will be out for at least another week. Not entirely certain if that means anything this year because I honestly haven't been paying too much attention to GS this year.

Bimmy freakin killed it last night. Never realized how good of a FT shooter he was until last night. Kyle Lowry scared me a bit there towards the end sine he has been having hamstring issues as of late. I'm not even a Miami fan, I just want them to beat Boston because I would love to troll Bostonian sports fans irl some more lololol
