bittersweet Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 Not sure if this goes here; but, these threads have been good grounds for discussion on upcoming films that we may or may not plan to see. It could even go so far as to make distinctions on whether you plan to see it in theater or wait for DVD/Blu-ray release. Feel free to borrow my list and/or template and make edits as you see fit. bittersweet Posted May 7, 2018 Author Posted May 7, 2018 @DangerousJ Have you seen the newest trailers for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Venom? If so, does it make you more excited, less excited or no change in regards to motivation to see it in theater? Quote
DangerousJ Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 I have seen both new trainers. I'm more excited for Venom and at the same level for Jurassic 5. Quote
bittersweet Posted May 7, 2018 Author Posted May 7, 2018 Really? I don't know how I feel about Venom. He's been one of my more preferred anti-heroes. I mean I enjoy Tom Hardy as an actor; but, I don't know if the route their taking is the best way to bring him on screen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Quote
bittersweet Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 How many movies have you seen? https://www.listchallenges.com/movie-checklist My results: 194 of 1095 movies Rank: #1,996 of 5,671 users (top 35%) --- There was a lot of movies on this list way, way before my time. Only reason I saw Nosferatu, The Great Train Robbery, Birth of a Nation and a few other oldies was because of my Cinema History course in college. Quote

What is it about a movie that makes it enjoyable for you? CinemaBlend has put together a list of twelve films they feel have killed a potential franchise, do you agree or disagree with the list? If so why? King Arthur: Legend of The Sword Dracula Untold John Carter The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Ender's Game Super Mario Bros. The Golden Compass Beautiful Creatures Van Helsing Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events The Lone Ranger The Wolfman Click to see the list and their reasoning behind each choice. Would you add anything to this list? If so, what and why? Quote
