I don't think you have much to worry about... Probably the idea of everyone sharing power is an old trope in most fictional mediums so it wouldn't be completely left field if we did see him doing something similar before the end.

RIP Atlas. I'm guessing "disconnecting" Lilith is somehow essential to her staying alive. Not sure if that's due to something about to happen to the master brain, or just taking her off the high priority kill list. Kind of disappointed the robot's superweapon fizzled, wanted to see Frankie's reaction panel to whatever it would have been.

"The Man Marked By Flames" might be the silhouetted man in this latest chapter, his inclusion into this current timeline makes it hard to predict anything in the future.

Once again Gear 5 x Nika Bonney managed to damage a Gorosei but like before the injuries seem like something a Logia would have. No blood or flesh damage, just weird, spongy holes through their bodies. Makes me think their immortality (and other abilities) really does come from Imu and not from the immortality surgery via the Ope Ope no Mi.

Lilith's disconnection from Punk Records might erase a lot of her knowledge accumulated by all of her satellite brethren. It makes me wonder what her role will be now?

Well I guess we'll be on our way to Elbaf, where I'm sure a huge part of Lore Piece remains to be uncovered. Let's hope Usopp actually becomes a "Brave warrior of the seas" there and start using his damn observation haki skills again. It's been over a decade since he's shown any prowess or character development.

The sheer power of Joy Boy's haki was able to overwhelm the Gorosei to the point that they couldn't maintain their bestial forms and even got their summoning circle nuked. That's easily the greatest haki feat we've seen in the series, and what makes it crazier was this was post mortem conqueror's haki that was imbued into a rope. We've known that haki can be transferred and held in objects like swords, which is why Mihawk's Kokuto Yoru is black from armaments, but the fact that conqueror's haki can be imbued in items is a new revelation.

This reminds me of Shanks' ability to transmit his haki which made Green Bull submit and his currently unseen ability to cancel an opponent's "Future Sight" observation haki.

BTW, did anyone else notice how big Joy Boy was? He isn't Elbaf giant big, but judging by the size of the robot, he's clearly around Whitebeard/ Kuma in size. I wonder if the Buccaneer race have the same frame and morphology as Kuma and his dad, or they have variations in physique like regular humans? I get the feeling the way Joy Boy used the Nika Nika no Mi was a bit different from Luffy.

Vegapunk's plan is a little bit iffy. Seems very convoluted. Why didn't they just capture York and release the message right away. Why does it need to be triggered upon his death.

Doing anything to York would have tipped his hand to the World Government that he knew they were onto him. He probably figured he was a dead man regardless, but as long as the WG thought they still had time to take him out he would at least get to live that much longer.

I'm glad that POS got his comeuppance, although not in the way I'd hoped. In any case I guess my suspicion that the Gorosei were given those pseudo-Zoan forms by Imu was correct. This explains their blood-less injures and mystical regeneration among other things. Their life extension was probably only a byproduct of Imu's immortality (probably by the first Ope Ope no Mi user *cough* Lili *cough*) and makes me wonder what they hell an ostensibly "young" Shepard Ju Peter did to be amongst the ranks of the other Elders?

Also, with the world being fractured as is, no wonder "Mother Nature" is pissed off. These calamities by weapons of war, the invention/ creation of the Devil Fruits (Goro Goro no Mi anyone?), possible invasion from elseworld beings and artificial creatures. If the OP world is truly alive it's been quite merciful considering what has been done to it for around a millennia.
