I posted this in my chat group the other day and said that this is the first time Evo Japan has such a big prize pool and my friends were like "lol this 1st prize money is only like Valorant 50th place prize money". Sometimes not replying is better than getting my blood pressure raised.

I thought my 09er friends were annoying when they bitch about sf5 non stop but my 16er friends are even worse. "OMG THERE'S SO MANY COLOURS IDK WHAT'S GOING ON" "OMG. THE GAME LOOKS SO SLOW IT'S LIKE MORTAL KOMBAT" "OMG THEY GAVE CHUNLI AND RYU NEW COSTUMES THIS WILL DESTROY THEIR IDENTITY AND CHUUNLI IS UGLY NOW" And they didn't even attempt to sign up for the beta. At least my 09er friends tried to get into the beta but failed. I'm a self confessed sf5 fanboy and can't wait for sf6. You just gotta allow every street fighter to be its own thing. It's like fucking a family of hot sisters. Every sister is different, but they are kind of the same because they're from the same family after all. That's what playing Street Fighter is like. @Twinblades are you not maining a blonde anymore?

Anyone thinks Jamie's dp kinda suck? It always seems like I'm doing his dp too early and I'd get stuffed. I'm too spoilt by Cammy's dp in sf5. Whenever I anti air with Cammy's dp, it always works.

We'll be enjoying ourselves playing Street Fighter 10 in our old age and he'll still be screaming that sf4 is the best.

Wish the default control type is Classic instead of Modern. Got rekt playing my first ranked match because it was set to Modern by default. Switched the control type to Classic for Jaime and picked Ken and got rekt as well because I realised I have to change the control type to Classic individually. And God damn the netcode is amazing!! Played almost 20 matches and only had 1 that was slightly laggy. Also in awe at how SF2/3/4/5/6 and the alpha series play so differently and yet retain the Street Fighter flavour.

Guys. A question. I managed to get into the beta on PS5 and one of my friends is really upset that he didn't get it. If I give him my PSN log in and password, will he be able to log in to play without issue? None of my friends managed to get into the first beta, and now for the 2nd one, only me and another guy got in. The rest (around 8 of them didn't get in). Anyway, yeah, we'll be able to test how godlike the netcode is when we play together. Singapore to USA. ShinTwinblades incoming!!!😆

Thank you for sharing your story. Doctrine. Life's so unpredictable isn't it? We really have to treasure our loved ones, including our friends. Heck, even "forum friends" like everyone here. You never know when a loved one is going away. The hardest thing right now is waking up every morning and having to remind myself that dad's gone and I will never be able to see him for the rest of my life. It doesn't make sense that a healthy and strong man who eats healthy, has his blood pressure under control, takes long walks every morning can get a stroke out of nowhere. And just like your dad's friend, he showed absolutely no signs of having a stroke. We were talking to each other during the game, just enjoying a father and son bonding moment and God took him away even before the match was over. I've always dreaded this day since I was a kid. We had to write a composition titled "My family". I was just 10 years old then and I remember writing this "I wish I can die before my parents do because I love them so much and I won't know what to do without them." I guess the pain I'm feeling right now is a testament to how much I love my dad. I wouldn't be in this much pain if I didn't love him. I'll be carrying this pain with me for the rest of my life.

I'm personally looking forward to Wo Long in March because I love games like Nioh and Sekiro. And of course the biggest release would be Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Also feeling positive about Wild Hearts and looking forward to Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse/Legend of Heroes Trails to Azure.

I'll be pulling off a sick 99 hit combo and double perfecting Daigo in Street Fighter and then I'll just drop dead (humour is how I deal with difficult times) But jokes aside, if I should get into the 2nd beta of sf6, let's have some games shall we? Even though I live all the way in Singapore. I have strong Internet and I play wired. 😆

Sorry for butting in out of nowhere, but has anyone dealt with a sudden and unexpected passing of a family member? I was watching the world cup with my dad and we were discussing the match, then i replied some messages on the phone, talked to dad some more and he dozed off during half time break. (Which is his usual thing to do) Then he suddenly clenched his right fist and sounded like he was in pain for about 3 seconds, then his head drooped to the side and passed away immediately. My heart is completely broken. I witnessed all that and that scene is forever stuck in my mind. I'm a fighting game fan and I'm supposed to be looking forward to news of SF6 and Tekken 8 during TGA but all I can do is wonder what I could have done for my dad to save his life. It's been exactly 2 weeks and I'm still in a daze. I can't eat or sleep well. I can't focus on anything. My friends have been great emotional support but I'm at a point where I'm so broken and still in a state of shock I can't function. Dad had no serious illness and goes for medical checkups every 6 months (Blood tests, ECG etc). His tests results were always good. In fact he went for a full health checkup late October. I can't believe that I won't be able to see or talk to my dad ever again. I just don't know what to do. When I come back home and dad's not there anymore, or when I see things that I think my dad would like, it just breaks me that he won't be able to enjoy all these again.

Is nothing new for SF6 going to be revealed at the Osaka exhibition? I was waiting so long for it and all we got are new posters. I was hoping for new trailers and news of an open beta. And where's Lord William btw? Suddenly remembered him.

Hey Jocelot! 1) Click Windows Start button 2) Scroll down and click on Settings. 3) Click on the System Tab under Settings and scroll down till you go to the "About" tab. Should be able to see it. One of my good friend's pc is a little under-specced. His GPU is above the requirement but his CPU is a little under. I hope it won't be any issue. @Darc_RequiemYeah I guess it's really important for them to test things under a closed environment. I used to be ok with 30 fps until I started using an LG Oled TV. Even the 40 fps modes give me a headache. It's unbearable when the camera turns. It's gotta be 60 fps or bust. Or better still, 60/120 fps uncapped framerates with VRR.

Capcom should have just made it an open beta but restrict the number of players at any one time to prevent this shit. Do it MMO style and add a queue. At least in this way, everyone gets to play and they prevent this scalper shit we're seeing right now.

Someone told me to check the Promotions tab in Gmail for the SF6 beta and look at what I got
