Should we nominate a "quieter" server for everyone here to use? Double-tap forward with parry on the second tap is the quickest way, but it takes a bit of practise. I'm still learning how to get the timing from moves that launch, mid combo when I'm set back to neutral.

I'm a very big and oh-so brave man, but I'm really fucking squeamish; I recoil at a stab wound, and gore makes me wince, a tonne. Think it might be to do with severe boiling water burns I had as a kid (I'm fine, it was my foot. I'm not quite Two Face) - that open wound had to be mopped out three times a week. Still makes me shudder, but Jamie's seems just nasty enough.

I haven't seen anything notable about crap animations in SF6. It kinda bugs me in a sense, like when graphics 'experts' spend time to zoom in on a wall and say "this texture is awful!" Like most, I haven't watched the 1hr+ video. If you don't notice it while playing, then grand.

I tend to avoid Eventhubs, as it's a ridiculous site, but I just read Twitter, Reddit and the folk here. If you're trying to make something better than EH, then good luck! I seem to remember the leaks being from the beta, we got three letter placeholders for GUL, URN, IBK, etc.? I was pretty confident Guile was coming before purchase, but that might just be because they changed Charlie from charge.

In a fun twist, your Honda vid made me want to get into him more. Same as you, played him since I was a brat at the arcades mashing, but the potential for bullshit in 6 feels... powerful. I'm struggling to find games I want to play. I stare at my Steam list, and end up just talking shit to friends, every night. Tempted to restart Valkyria Chronicles 4, and it feels a slog to get back into DQXI. Edit: I'm even tempted to start DOS2 again, and start BG3, even though that'll be out of early access in a few months. Decision paralysis is real.

I can't think of a fighting game example, but FFXIV dropped PS3 when its second expansion was released

I'm genuinely interested in over half of the cast. I'm unsure about Guile though. His standard booms seem so much weaker.
