Man capcom building the hype again.... I hope the update really is more than just Super art 2, and if it's multiple mechanic's that's dope. What would be cool is something like ultra's but with V trigger gauge. The capcom exhibition should really be with the new update...

Fireballs seem to overall be ok, even with the anti fireball tools in the game. I think overall some could be buffed more (sagat, ryu)

Nah this always happens when one fighter has something releasing for the public. Oh you have a big event?! We are releasing a character trailer, or you are having a patch, we doing a beta, oh you are talking about future plans, we are doing the same.. one week later. I guess no one wants to be "left behind" I noticed this years ago and it still holds true, I wouldn't be surprised to get some extra KOF or Granblue info either.

Same weekend as capcom stuff and probably patch eh...

In southern Louisiana, but just about any mall I went to from atl to Tx had a arcade if not two at that time, now it was right around the time when the only thing that was really really keeping them alive were Dance Dance, tekken, and loyal fighting game players.

In 99 there were hella arcades and cabs. It didn't really start to fall off until about 2001/2002 then it took a nose dive every year after.

I think them not having some kind of rank mode is going to hurt. Every on going competitive game has a rank mode, it's kind of the " big boys club" Even in card games, this "ladder" or level thing they go far is just baked into ranked... Putting everyone into a pool and then saying play and having people float between levels is probably going to be more annoying than anything. Also it kills a part of the tension that comes with RANKED games. That or it makes every game feel like it's a rank game so no one can actually relax and try stuff like they want. I understand what they want to do, but they are basically trying to reinvent the wheel, you can improve upon it but at the core it's as good as it can get. And if the public lobbies aren't "casual matches" that essentially just make them ranked matches... by a different name. Oh well I guess we'll see.

I've played sf5 two weeks straight almost and i've lost 2.5k points trying to understand how I can't open people up with frame traps and why I can't blow up delay tech without getting mashed on. I've learned nothing. I might just hang up sf5 for good or at least till oro and rose.

Why is it so hard to walk and block in SF5 for me online. It blows my mind.

Two weeks on a random Wednesday. How amazing would it be if this game is an amazingly drawn 2d sprite base game.

I just find it ironic, obviously I got nothing against perth, he's a sensible guy. It's just funny to me because it mirrors a situation here at work were a group of people backed someone and rightly so but the person moved to another location out the blue after pretty much starting a revolt.

It's pretty natural to look at developed body and think it's attractive. That body might be attached to a 16 year old or a 30 year old. It's how you behave or respond once you have all the info that makes or breaks things. I'm a grown man and can look recognize and see a hot 16 year old, acknowledge and not want to have anything to do at all sexually with the teen. So many things turn my stomach even thinking about that, beyond just the physical aspect of it. The thing is people want to dance around that, like "oh I said this 17 old is hot" I'm a terrible person. Nah your a terrible person if you out preying on young teens sexually as a adult. We not there yet though, especially in america, too many weirdo's and actual people preying on teens and pedophiles.

Dang everyone moved over here for him and he bounced? lol I think I can see what Perth was trying to say, but like heat bought up there's a difference it just gets lumped together because it's pretty much all illegal. And why I completely understand someone looking at someone 16-19 and thinking they are hot or are going to be attractive one day, being sexual attracted to that is a thin line and as a grown man or woman especially one growing up in places where it's not the norm you should check yourself ASAP. I've been in more than a few situations in my time where I've been hit on or some "kid" that just wanted to hook up and have some sort of what appeared to be stability and "maturity" in there life. And while they had the body and face of a 23 year old it's pretty clear that they are immature after more than 5 mins of talking....and that's coming from a man child lol. With that said whoever was trying to use his kid as an example of "how it's wrong" I'm assuming, but when you bring peoples family into stuff the dynamics of debates, trash talk and other stuff change and it automatically becomes mad personal.

Man the more I try to understand sf5 the more things just don't make sense to me. Especially characters like guile and even characters like alex. How do you Add a character like Honda and a character like sagat? One has to play SF and SF5 and the other just plays SF5, I don't think there's a single memorable match of SF5 for me like there are for SF4 and 3. And that's because almost everything is robbery, even comebacks from pixel is robbery, either because the person on pixel can't die from chip anyway or because they V trigger comeback into a shimmy or some 50/50 and then win. I really hope for season 5 they just straight up either buff all the mid to low tier characters or the mechanic they add is actually game changing and not just another option like super selection.
