So many likeable characters. I had like 2 characters I was interested in before SFV launched. Now with SF6 I have like.... at least 5 characters who could end up being my main. 🥲

I would agree. Problem is just that for me I grew up naming him Balrog, so it would be hard getting used to him being named M.Bison. But I agree it does make more sense.

I really like the fact that you can see the whole character on character select now instead of just the upper body. Makes choosing the right color/costume combination much easier.

About the Juri outfit: Tbh small boobs are fine, medium boobs are fine, big boobs are fine. I mean people already know which type I prefer but honestly even though I like them big I like having lots of different body types and SF is doing a good job in that regard imo. Menat for example looks super cute and has the perfect size for her body. Bigger breasts would look silly on her. For Laura/Mika/Chun it's fine, because they are muscular amazons and quite tall (+thicc) compared to other females. With Juri, she has medium sized breasts in SFV and I think most people just think it looks weird if you take that away from her in 1 outfit. If you want to create a character with the lilith costume chest size that's totally fine! But don't change a character later on where the chest size is already set in stone. Stay true to the character. That's just my opinion.

Just saw this thread. Shame I didn't notice it earlier. Anyway. Soul Calibur is my favorite 3D fighter series. I think I played every game of it. Played 4 and 5 online until it died. Was fun, but sadly the playerbase wasn't nearly as big as SF4 during the time so it wasn't always easy to find matches. Well and Ivy is probably my favorite Fighting Game character of all time. I fell in love with her in SC2 and mained her in every SC game since then. I like that she has a younger face this time. Looks fresh. But I hope we get the option to give her her older face from IV as a costume option. Probably won't happen and it's not really necessary but I liked her face from IV a lot too so would be cool. But no preference overall. All her faces in all SC games are top tier imo. I just hope that gameplay wise they didn't simplify her more. SCV already did that a little bit and I just hope she remains a stance character. That's what made her so interesting to me. But of course Ivy is not my only interest in the game. I want to see some old fan favorites making it into SC6. Especially Taki. She derserves it so much to be back after she got replaced by female Naruto in V. She was my secondary in IV. Other characters I wanna see are Setsuka and Siegfried. I liked to mess around with them in previous SC games. Hated the fact that Setsuka got replaced by Alpha Patroklos in V (V made a lot of bad decisions in that regard).

Yea it definitely looks like fun. Unfortunately most pro Laura players think VT2 is useless. But we'll see what people can do with it after the patch. ;) I read that 801 Strider will probably drop Laura for Kolin. I don't and I can't judge him as someone, who played less than 1000 matches and never went to tournaments. Fuudo might drop Mika as well. For me the changes don't really matter. I played Laura in S1, where she was considered a bottom 3 character and still had fun with her. Because using a "better" character won't change anything, if you still have major flaws in your gameplay imo. The only thing which could be problematic right now are the Cammy buffs imo. Not from a player perspective (because as I said, I lack experience to judge about their balance decisions), but as a viewer it could get pretty boring if you buff a character who had the most representation in top 64 of the last few tournaments. I don't see it as problematic with Menat. QoL changes are nice and could mean more people pick her up now but she is still hard to learn and Du's impressive pocket Cammy showed that her amazing walkspeed counters Menat very well. Also the Pro Tour already started. Most pro players probably want to have someone as a pocket character who is quite easy to learn so I could see a lot of them having a pocket Cammy for some matchups. Menat requires more time to be tournament ready.

Laura seems slightly buffed. Might try out her VT2 now (haven't messed around with it at all). Mika about the same I guess, but more dmg on command throw is not really something she needs imo. Biggest buff for these two are probably the Abigail and Rashid nerfs. And I think I might drop Chun and Juri as side bae's and pick up Menat as third character. Because her QoL changes is exactly the stuff I need to not fuck up her v-trigger combo on P2 side. This should really help me out and I could use a heavy zoner to complement my two grappling ladies.
