    It is here.

I can't wait to get tipsy and SPD some fools with it tonight!

    Nice stick.

Obligatory O.G. Erectus no Homo AKA Fist of the Jojo Star, or something.

    'Sup, Just?

Shame 4 fell out of fashion, in favor of shit flavored plaid corduroy  bell bottom skinny trousers.

    I mean 5.

Because I loved to 360 for days with low T.ier Hawk, in that.

Not in the arcade, but I did play it a bit later on other platforms.  I think DOA2 on dreamcast was the most DOA I've ever played. ❤️

    Same.

    Hayate for life.

Jiggle physics are the reward for hitting, not being hit.

    Think about it.

plenty of other games with online modes manage to still have offline capability just fine.  ....and now Todd just revealed that the new Fallout is all online too.  Yeah if the whole industry goes this direction then I'm done with this shit.  Fuck it all to hell forever... I'll still have my older games from back when companies had some goddamn sense and weren't trying to maintain absolute control over the shit and weren't trying to make gaming into a "service" instead of a product.

You and me both, Million - you and me both.

It'll be no great loss for me, though.

I've been nearly 100 % retro for a couple of years now (ever since the PS3 faded away, basically).

Though I will still hold out hope for Borderlands 3, and get the 4K versions of my PS3 boos whenever they go on deep sale.

    Except Dragon's Crown.

    I Day One'd that shit.

    Hard.

I love all the retro collections. They add further legitimacy to all of my legal ROMs. I'll be buying retro systems [again] soon enough.

God's know you can't go wrong with your second SNES, fourth NES, or third Genny.

And I just can't see Steam going down that Brown Brick Road.

They know a shite idea when they see one.

They'll only flourish under such circumstances.

    PC Master Race is safe.

Interesting... Wolverine's claws heat up now? (*they actually get to it at about 4:45 in the vid)

Too bad CrapCum totally fucked, well shot their load in their own dirty arsehole, with the VS series.

Because this lame as fuck new power might just have had some actually interesting application as an armor-breaking property.

    EDIT:

If Deadpool 3 doesn't have Ryan chiming an aside about himself, Pulverine, and a red hot poker up the ass, then it will truly be a missed opportunity.

You know if Abe Lincoln was a character in SFV I'd be persuaded to play that game again.

You know if Capcom developed DS4 and didn't make it an E-League based DLC circus cluster fuck that'd make Basket Case 2 look elegant, I'd be prepared to well, not to forgive them the pathetic yet successful attempt at travesty that  is SF5, but to at least grit my teeth and pretend it to be a lesser, bastardized version of SF EX.

Especially since we're getting a superior sequel to that spin-off.

Hell, with that, I can just sit back, and pretend it's the TRUE SF3.

I'll retcon the ever living fuck outta that.

I still think Ultra got robbed of it's time to shine.

Ultra and Super 4 were mad solid games.

And I say this as someone who absolutely loathed the crapfest that was VANILLA SF4, and found that the broken turd (yes, Zen koan) that was AE allowed for many, many playthroughs of Dark Souls 1, before 2012.

    Fuck.

    SF4 is oldish now, innit?

I mean, I had a projector, movie seats, and surround in my basement at home -- I still went to the theater occasionally.  At least right now even if you have a huge TV there is still nothing that is going to be bigger than the screen at a theater.  No sound system as loud either.  I think it's still worth it if I ever manage to get off my lazy ass.

One of my best friends from high school had the same kind of set up.

He even built a room in the basement around it.

Dude's closets were to DVDs as Tom Cruise's were to duffel bags in American Made.

    He loves the art form.

    EDIT:

But he was far from lazy.

In his heyday, he'd chain run a whole 8 screen multiplex on a Thursday.

  7. Cell phones killed the theater for me.

40" 4K Samsung >>>>> theater, anymore, for me.

It isn't a matter of the pros of each, so much as how the cons of the current meta are so imbalanced, that they make the benefits of the theater pointedly moot.
