Eh. Mobile gaming. Every year or so I get the thought of seeing what games might be out. And after looking at some bus simulators and pubg, seemed a good idea. I mean PUGB is free unlike consoles, and there are no bus sims for console.

But of course no controller works for any of this stuff. So whats the point? Personally I can't get enthralled enough with phone factor to get any use. I don't play games with phone type controls, and I dont even type, I wont respond in forums or facebook on phone. This brings home my previous thought that I can get away with a low tier phone. If I can't play on  pad, it's pretty useless.

That, IDK how I feel about. I still gotta go with 64's version, but thats awesome to ever see effort be put into vgm anymore.

there's literally like 2 vgms from this gen that i even remember. lol.

I currently have an HTC U11. I'm weird in that I'm not much for headphones. I like a cellphone with good speakers, so I've been on the HTC bandwagon for a while. I did skip a couple of models that went with a single speaker. The reason I hopped on the U11 is i didn't know when they'd put a decent set of speakers on a cellphone again.

I do the every 2 years thing. have S8+ and previously had LG G4, both were horrible choices. I hated the LG because it had widespread issues, and don't like the stock setup on the S8+, and the side screen shit is stupid, you press 9 three times before a 0 will register. Fuck. It's also a slippery phone, and since I do the lease thing, I'm not buying a 100 case for 'not' my phone.

Last phone I liked was the GS4. Unfortunately the screen broke, so I upgraded. I stopped playing games on phones with my GS4, and I'm sure a phone of that level can still do every needed function.

If you have to upgrade your PC every 6 months.....you are doing something wrong. I replaced my last gaming laptop after 4 years. I can still run pretty much everything on my old laptop. PC gaming on a laptops is the most expensive way to PC game. With the ridiculous mining craze, I don't see gaming requirements moving much. You can't upgrade a desktop if you want to right now....

Mind you it's been almost 10 years since I PC gamed. Newest and baddest were coming out every 6 months at that point. I haven't paid attention to PC gaming since then. I think the GTX was in the 600 series at the time I stopped.

Things may be different now. IDK.

Digital makes more sense on PC, but if I PC gamed anymore, I'd just pirate shit anyway LOL. Got tired of feeling like a bitch if I didn't have close to the top GPU card, which needed upgrades every 6 months.

However since I console only game, minus CPS2 emus, which anything can run I must have physical. I don't collect, I have only XB1, PS4, 360, and a DC. And I have had nearly every major console for every gen since NES, so it's obvious I don't take too much stock in collecting, as that means I have let a LOT of stuff go. I also like to get money back if possible on shit purchases, I am kind of a release day snob, I don't want any games when they are old news. So each purchase is gonna be a $60. Even this gen alone, I only stand at 20 games (physical) between both, because I have sold and traded shit in,.
