I still have to sort, and organize my Street Fighter manhua on the third shelf, but I've managed to transfer just about all my fighting game books this week from the garage.

I cleared out one of the cabinets and moved all of the art books, and game guides into it. The back row are all the books from the drawers minus one that I let my friend borrow. The front row are assorted magazines, a folder with a bunch of posters, and my Secret Files. Now I have more room to put more game comics in the drawers. I'll see what progress I can make tomorrow.

I did a writeup of the Garou manhua (Chinese comics) series on my blog. I was running low on drawer space as I move my fighting book collection from the garage. I was able to squeeze in the mahua set for Garou Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters 2003, SVC Chaos, and an art book as well. I have a ton of Street Fighter manhua in the garage still, as well as some Tekken, and Dino Crisis as well. One of these days I'll get my hands on the Buriki One manhua.

A couple of the plastic bins I store my fighting game collection was starting to warp in the heat, and pressure in the garage. I moved a couple of boxes indoors and took pictures of a few things. Collectors of the old school might like to see some things going back to 1991.

I think people are reading too much into what I meant. Being homeless does not mean being poor. There are a lot of people in my city that live out of their cars, work 40+ hours a week, and collect a paycheck. They simply can't afford rent, don't have friends, or family to lean on. Or are too prideful, or stubborn to accept help from loved ones. I know Ryu has money. For decades I was pretty sure that he had a credit card, and cash hidden in his duffel bag. SF6 confirmed that Ken had made sure he was taken care of. When I said Ryu was homeless I meant that he literally lived out of his bag the majority of the year. He chose this path, he could have stayed at his master's temple, and trained in privacy. But he actively sought out the challenge, even if it meant sleeping rough most of his life.

Naming conventions aside what does everyone think about the original ideas for Vega / Balrog?

I was wondering why my blog was getting a bump in views, I had to look at the sources, and found out about MegaShock. Thanks for the feedback. I do have the brain rot. Been staring at screens for a long time, and not touching enough grass. I like playing both sides of the argument in my writing, using my inner Tucker Carlson to say "I'm just asking questions" it helps stir some people up while at the same time taking a strong stance against characters I don't like. I don't care for A.K.I. but I don't hate her nearly as much as I hate F.A.N.G. or Rufus. Back in 2015 I did a two-parter on the roots of F.A.N.G. like many on the boards here I talked about Kung-Fu Hustle, and other design elements the character featured. I start part 2 with the most over-the-top hate for the character; " He is an ugly character, a mockery of Chinese martial arts systems. He doesn't really belong in the Street Fighter series but the powers that be have decided to give him a go anyway." But then I get to the heart of the issue in the same paragraph; "The reality is that Western writers, artists, actors, directors and producers have been doing a greater disservice to Asian characters than any Japanese developer ever could. It is the ugly truth. Audiences from the west fail to acknowledge what we have done culturally to Asians over the past century." Sorry if my tone or intent didn't come through with the A.K.I. blog.
