Do you guys think Capcom have sort of out themselves into a tight spot in terms of balancing 6? For example let's say Season 2 patch drops and they make major changes to either of the Drive mechanics. But because of how deeply integrated and closely tied all of the system elements are, since there's no Groove like system, a buff or nerf to one of them could cause such a massive domino effect where suddenly another mechanic becomes more dominant or weaker as a result, so that mechanic now also needs to be touched within the same patch or as a rapid update before the CPT season kicks off proper

Let's just avoid the Urien/Guile/Rashid season 2 situation. They've already stepped onto the Launch version Falke pitchfork with AKI, don't need to repeat the other fumbles from that year

In classic Capcom fashion I expect them to replace the top tiers, leave the bottoms unchanged, and buff the high tiers to the top so instead of Ken/jp/Deejay/Luke we get Guile/cammy/Rashid or something. Aki will obviously be shafted and not see any buffs until the very last season before SF7

Closer to 130$ if the DLC character costumes aren't retroactively added to the season pass (which by the way is another scummy tactic used by FG developers now - the season passes are ONLY characters now, you don't get anything else of value) This is a far cry from SFIV costume packs where you could even purchase themed bundles for very specific characters (eg shadaloo pack, femme fatale pack, world warrior pack)

So there's no option to just buy the whole costume package in one go

Feels like SFV S1 all over again when half the pro tour was a bunch of Nash, Cammy, Chun, Mika, Necalli players

Seems like Capcom just threw all the staff to finish base game content first, it's weird how 4.5 months later 6 only released 2 additional characters I know it's a bit of an unfair comparison but by this time post launch for 5, that game added 3 characters, a dozen costumes, 2 stages, a story mode DLC, and revamped the ingame economy by removing the zenny currency and nerfed earnings from survival mode

Meanwhile ArcSys and Bandai are moving away from arcades with their franchises. Neither even mentioned doing a arcade port of strive or T8. SNK stopped arcade releases a long time ago too. Sega's arcade business has been suffering since 2020 Capcom slowly becoming the last beacon of hope for fighting games in Japan if you're into the arcade culture still
