im gonna guess sega isn't like square or capcom and keep extremely capable devs locked in the closet. i thought they didn't make a new virtua fighter becuase they didn't have anyone to make that shit although a couple of people left team ninja so maybe their good now?

i know that skies of arcadia hd remaster is coming or they can do that crash/spyro and give me the exact same game with 4k graphics i don't care! why doesn't sega want my money!

i think the original sonic games shine more on replays because when you first start your gonna want to go fast but that's gonna get you killed as counterintuitive as that sounds but the more you play them and memorize the level layout and stuff the faster you can go and the more enjoyable the games become. also i really like sonic adventure 2 even tho i know its pretty bad but c'mon people i gotta escape from the city and follow my rainbow. and finally sonic 06 is sonic adventure 3 people don't want to admit it kinda like type moon fans won't admit there was a tsukihime anime.

i wonder what virtua fighter's 2 hour cinematic story mode they need to sell the game to casuals is gonna be like.

eh if people choose to step aside for voice acting to give somebody else a shot whatever otherwise get in where you fit in or get the best person for the job. i doubt you always gonna be able to match race to character 100% of the time otherwise the persona 6 casting is gonna be a hilarious shitstorm.

yea i played azure on the kinda jank english patch that was already out since i grew up playing 90's translations it wasn't anything i couldn't handle. speaking of english patches the tales of destiny ps2 beta patch is out if people are interested

i actually played through the entire trails series last year im so glad i waited because that cold steel 1 ending prob wouldve had me mad as hell if i had had to wait like two years or some shit.

i think that's about all my hand's can take of the guilty gear beta i should've just downloaded the ps4 version so i could play with a different controller but oh well i guess. i went in a pot player but came out a chipp main they are both hilarious to use when your learning a game i never even touched chipp before this game but holy shit is he effective at enty level nobody was blocking anything i did i was having the time of my life. that being said i think everything about this game that doesn't involve fighting someone sucks and i'm not even sure how the fighting part is gonna look in 6 months. but ive already became a part of the fighting game consumer cycle so they got me until melty blood or an interesting granblue character comes out.

yo this dual sense is fuckin up my hands i realized i never use this shit much since i only play ps4 games with a fightpad on ps5 or turn based jrpgs mostly but this shit is mad uncomfortable for me for some reason. i normally use one of those fusion a fight pads that look sorta like a saturn pad those feel really good to me but the d pad will fall of those bitches in like 3 months of heavy use. so i wait for sales and get like 3 of them.( i know it's stupid don't judge me)

my feelings about the strive beta are complicated. like everything that doesn't involve fighting someone is a big wtf why is this shit like this? like at some point someone had to sit down and come up with this stupid ass lobby and convince a bunch of people that everyone's gonna love this shit.

damn time for the fabled dragon quest 3 remake?

you know guys ive been playing a lot of old games lately trying to clean up my backlog and i have recently started to wonder how many continuities have been fucked up by mistranslations and shit. like the final boss of breath of fire 1 and 3 is the same person but some people argue its not because of the translation even tho the title screen of 3 is a mural of the party 1st game fighting the final boss. same with wild arms 3 a nigga from the 1st game shows up has the exact same weapon and attacks but has a different name so a bunch of people just thought it was an entirely different person.

i bought shining resonance for like 10 bucks and i don't know anything about it except it has art by tony taka of the sameface hentai elite 4. now i must wait for black dog to get art in a game somehow.

if anybody cares the tales of destiny ps2 and psp games are getting fan translations! i know of two tales of destiny dc translations one has a professional editor and won't be done for a while another is using mostly google translate with some editing but is almost done and is apparently fully playable to beginning to end in english.

i never played phantasy star or shining force but i did play mutha fuckin breath of fire! also i have the ps2 english patched remakes of phantasy star 1 and 2 but i haven't played them yet.

oh i finished wild arms 4 not long ago it wasn't bad. its essentially a jrpg version of kids next door. the main problem with wild arms 4 and 5 compared to the old ones is they spend too much time beating you over the head with their message wild arms 5 did have the most interesting battle system if they could've put together a better narrative it might have been my favorite but so far wild arms 1/alter code f and 3>4 and 5 i've never finished 2 but ill get around to it this year sometime.
