Hey there Scotia, thanks for the kind words! Sure thin man, you can use this post and even reference my other vids if that helps you along:

Just let me know what you need!

Heh, I'm right there with you on not being a fan of the G being Q theory; first and foremost, they're both fantastic characters in their own right and I think it would be a crime to take the creepy, lumbering, marionette-moving, possibly sympathetic and remorseful nature of Q and turn it into the flashy, over the top stylish, charming showman, explosive awesomeness with hints of sinister motives of G or vice versa, tearing all that dazzle from G and making him Q.

Having them both occupy space in SF is possible and could be pretty cool. As I mentioned in my vid "Golden Question", I thought of their dynamic like Kamen Rider Black; Gorgom (G in this case), makes Kotoro (Q) to be his elite footsoldier. Q, either once was a loyal follower who wised up, or a complete bystander pulled into an organization of evil. Changed into a monster by this organization, something happens that allows him to retain his humanity and fight back against his creator. It's so very toku and could be fun.

Also the other reason I don't want this to be true is that, the mystery is so much fun, if they revealed his identity THIS early and easily without , it would be disappointing. It's just too on the nose for me.

I agree with you that Capcom's plan is working. In the thread of the art I requested from the ever-awesome QuasimodoX, a few comments and retweets were "Why is he fighting himself?" lol

Wow, this thread was actually quite nice to read. First and foremost i never knew that Q had a "keyhole" of sorts, i guess this was information i never had a chance to look into. The whole Q cult is actually a nice storyline that Capcom should pick up on. At first I just thought he was one of the freaks in the Secret Society but I digress.

I don't actually think he is. Capcom wants it to appear so, but there's enough out there to make it ambiguous.  Plus the current team has said they love how people are playing with the mystery of it all. I don't think they would just spill everything now and so abruptly.

As of SFV there's a few things:

    - With Wayne Nakamura's profile, there's mention he saw a man in an American port. This seemed to be Capcom quietly confirming the "Is Q in Ken's SF2 stage" theory that's been around for a while

-In SF3 supplementary material Richard Burgman issues a statement that the CIA cannot confirm or deny the existence of "The Trench Coat Man", an urban legend. It appears that there've been so many sightings and public curiosity that Burgman, the PR guy for the CIA, felt the need to put out something to get people to stop bugging them about it. SF3 seems to be a few months away from SFV and 3S a year after that. It's not impossible for a legend to start that quickly, but I get the feel that Q's been around longer than than a few moths to a year.

-In the developer's notes, they show that Q's mask is apparently supposed to have a keyhole and some of the notes mention that Q "feels like it's being manipulated from behind the scenes". I'll be covering this in the SF3 round up video I've been working on for months, but with the Ring of Galaxy stage, you can see camera men walking around with G's story costume mask, NOT  Q's. The big difference is that Q's shell-like mask looks like he's locked into it, but G's is like a hockey mask with a strap that he could seemingly remove at will. With all the posturing that G's gonna be a huge deal, I don't see his situation being wrapped up in 4 months and no one really being affected by it. Gill doesn't recognize G, but his powers seem familiar. In SF3, Gill says he has no idea who or what Q is.  Here's the translation from @Miðgarðsorm:

-With the revelation that some stories for SFV take place after SF3, it's possible G's takes place after. Th Illuminati's existence is incredibly hard to prove, but Gill fully unveils himself on G's incredibly popular stream. In SF3, I never got the vibe that anyone knew of Gill and the society publicly. If G's story is after 3, then that puts even more distance between him and Q since he's been around long enough that people have not only crafted urban legends, but he' s seen enough that all of his move names are rough descriptions the public has given to him  when he's in action.

-If the CRI profiles are correct, then as of SFV, Viper has been tailing Q for a while

-Q's skin colour is something I've been going on about for ages. It's a mystery. In some art, he clearly looks lighter skinned, possibly caucasian, but in some pieces his neck looks tanned, then is the actual in game sprites where you can see his neck skin or the skin above his socks, his skin is pretty tanned, not quite as dark as Dudley's, but more tan that someone like Alex or Ken.

-G is cocky and sure of himself , flashy, agile and wants to get his name & face out there. Q,  in his only spoken bit of dialogue refers to himself as an abomination, he's very simple in his clothing choice, he's powerful & lumbering, and doesn't make his presence known unless he wants to be seen and seems like the comic hulk in that he wants to be left alone. (he scares off the people following him in his intro)

    - Going back to the Ring of Galaxy stage, his staff members all wear that SFV story mask, while Q is locked into his. He may have been special or rebellious in some way. Whether or not Ring of Galaxy is true, the staff give an interesting hint of things to come. Everyone thought G was a joke, but he gained a surge of popularity after being Rashid. It kept growing after beating Menat and others. He then, in his arcade ending wandered the globe and capture more attention and support. With him being enough of a public figure for GILL of all people to utilize him for his grand unveiling says something about his amount of reach. It's no stretch that he'll gain followers. Since his unveiling and that promo image of G being shown looking rather evil, I got the vibe he was some sort of villain making his own organization. It's since been confirmed he's a boss and a huge threat to the world. It could easily make sense that This President of the world gimmick is his latest plot, but he's been around for a while, choosing only to resurface after Shadaloo's downfall. If he previously made Q or ensured his creation, but Bison or something drove him underground, it would make sense that now in the times of peace, he'd start to steadily sway people to his side.  Many of us have theorized that there's multiple Q's hence the appearing all of the world at contradicting times. It could be that Q is just a mind controlled agent, or he rebelled, got punished, escaped and now the others are hunting him. Heck, G's profile showed that one of the possible agents is female.

It's a common recurring character designs and boss themes in CAPCOM internal in 90s and 80s having 3 Chinese assassin girls, The wiki forget and didn't mentioned the parallels between the group of 3 Chinese girl assassin bosses in two different games

By the looks of it Chun's designer Akiman may had took some inspiration from "Isuke" Kouichi Yotsui  Designs in Strider's Pooh Sisters for Chun-li

In-fact the others in Capcom and Akiman probably took more direct inspiration from it again when doing character enemies for Warriors of Fate,
Which Akiman did also work in that game and where it had another set of its own version of  3 Chinese Assassin Girls.

The Mei Assassin in Warriors of Fate. 美 - mĕi (beauty in Chinese) Chinese mean beautiful, pretty.
So it's more like The Beautiful Assassins, The difference Mei Assassin to the Pooh sisters is that they are not sisters. Since Mei isn't represented as their last name.

And also don't forget that Warriors of Fate did borrow a lot of references from Strider and obviously Street fighter.

    From Strider's Pooh Sisters

To Warriors of Fate's Mei Assassins'

It's good, but following 4 I felt like it was a bit...redundant I guess? I'm not one of those insane people that think 4 and 5 look the same (because jesus christ SF4 was ugly even back in 2009 when I first played it and had a super basic understanding of SF), but they definitely share a similar art-style. I've always kind of thought 5 was what 4 should have looked like, in that it's Capcom perfecting that style and making it not look like shit.

Model quality wise, I thought it was spotty with some characters looking amazing and others looking horrendous, but this is no doubt down to the many different studios Capcom were outsourcing SF5 to during development. For every Chun Li you had an Alex. It was just a shame and I hope that for 6 they don't outsource anything (or at least don't outsource to so many studios. I swear hearing back in the day that Season 1's characters were made by like three or four different studios which is just crazy). If they have to outsource though, just make sure the studio that made Alex's model never comes close to one of their projects again.

In-game artwork wise, yeah everyone else is pretty much spot on and that Bengus was all over the place and incredibly inconsistent. It's a shame too because I always liked his artwork for older SF games (never one of my favourites though) and I actually forgot how good the artwork in Kolin's character story was, but god damn is the art fucking bad in this game. To the point that the good artwork is either completely drowned out or not even remembered because of how much bad stuff there is. I think this is a case for the promotional art too which IMO is a huge step down from pretty much every other game. It's clear Bengus' style is just totally different to what it used to be and while that's fine and does happen, I just really dislike it and hope that he's as far away from 6 as possible. I really hope they get Nishimura or Ikeno back but I'll take anyone as long as it's not Bengus again.

As for my hopes for how 6 looks, I just want it to be different. I obviously don't want hyper realism or even Tekken style 'realism', but I just want the game to stand out on its own from the rest of the series. While 4 and 5 are clearly different graphically, as I said earlier they kinda follow similar styles and I think in the long run that hurts how the game is remembered in terms of its individuality. It's the same reason why I wouldn't want 6 to ape 3's or Alpha's style despite loving those games. Just give me a game that feels different, something that in 10-15 years from now I can go 'yeah that was undisputedly what SF6 was like'. Idk, probably rambling but after like 10+ years of similar art styles I think the series desperately needs a vibrant kick up the ass to make it stand out again. Hopefully with Ono gone we can get that.

Props for mention SFV animations, forgot do it in my feedback

SFV animations have overall been awesome, they added SO FUCKING MUCH personality to SFV cast
There would be so much to say, so many little touch of class
Most easy example that come to mind is just to watch Ryu and Ken fight style in SFV... Ryu strikes have strong japanese Karate (various styles) vibes, while Ken have waaay more western style that remind more 80s "american kickboxing".
Ryu feel solid af and hold his ground, everything he does start and stop, seems to often use strong positions with feet well planted on the ground, everytime he strike give "ouch" vibes, dude just seem made of stone
Ken he's ever light on his feet, never stop bouncing and moving, seem constantly try keep forward momentum, his punches looks fluid and dynamic, his kicks have him spinning(and recoil) in a way that feel the start of something instead the end of it, seems ever ready for next move

Even just to think how similar they was back to SF4 is awesome lol
Of course it's a while we started to see these different traits in them, is not something "invented" by SFV animations... but SFV brought it to the next level

Capcom def paid more attention to the waifus of the game, which explains why they tend to look better than the male characters.

Personally, SFV is my favorite when it comes to the characters visually. Not just with how they look, but the animations and follow-throughs of some of the moves (most notably Season 3 onward).
I feel that almost every SFV female character looks like the best they've ever looked before. I think this is the best version of Chun-Li from a visual standpoint. And some of my favorite male characters that I think look really good in SFV are M. Bison, G, Zeku, Urien, and Vega. I know there are some misses like Ken's face, Abigail's bulldog face and head-to-body proportions, and Kage looking like the Spirit Halloween Store version of Evil Ryu. But I do feel there are more hits than misses when it comes to the visual aspect of Street Fighter 5.

I started in my previous comment that Bengus's story artwork does feel rushed, which explains the terrible art character stories for the first 16 characters. And as Daemos said, the ending arcade artworks look great too.

The devs stated that the SF characters have abnormally bigger hands and feet to serve as visual markers for where their normals are spaced. Much easier to see the footsie range of a big fist or foot rather than a normal sized proportionate one.

If we are speaking ingame, I like the overall style and I think the game looks gorgeous at times. However, it has an incredible amount of dumb flaws that bring it down.

Character models are outsourced and that's ok, but while some of them look fantastic other are really bad.
Some characters have serious issues with clipping and physics based elements, even in the character select and victory screens.
Character textures are aliased in places for god knows what reason, certainly not technical limitations.
Stage textures are often smudgy in a bad way, something that makes no sense in a closed-world game where stages are literally backgrounds and should look perfect.
Many stage elements don't cast shadows.
A number of stage characters move at 30 fps.

All of these are things that should have never been accepted regardless of the visual style the game went for. The art director should have said “No, this has to be redone or fixed somehow”. Other than that, yeah, I like it. I like it more than either realistic or anime styles, and I especially wouldn't trade the fully animated 60fps for a 10fps anime style.

Now, one thing I do dislike about the visual style and as personal opinion, there's no reason for characters to have giant hands and feet in a game that's high definition and 60fps. It looks bad and I'm not buying the readability thing.

No.  It's just SF4's style again.  And I didn't like SF4's, but I gave it a pass cause it was SF's first real 3d graphics game.
All over the place.  Most of them from SF Alpha and SF3.  The 1, 4 and 5 sprites came from various deviantartists.  All the SF5 ones came from Reluu.

I think the reason why is because Bengus was probably rushed to finish the character story arts for all 16 base roster characters. If i remember, the release date for SF5 was pushed up to Feb from June. So Bengus had to be on a huge time crunch just to get all the story arts finished.

At least with the following seasons, he had more time and less characters to draw story art for, which explains why they look better than the starting roster.

In-game is better than SF5 style but it is still bad. Proportions suck, everyone is a chunky roid monster and a lot of costumes are overly busy. Lighting is also pretty garbage. Not an attractive style. Compare to something like the new SamSho that is visually gorgeous and coherent while having a similar character aesthetic to SF5 BUT with far far FAR better proportions.

The cut-scene style is embarrassing. Bengus was a highly influential artist to me and the quality of work now is flat-out bad. It's such a regression in effort

    Ingame?
Hit and miss, have good moments but also terrible ones.
Person who chosen some SFV color palette gimmicks i hope will not be anywhere near SF6.
Overall i would say it's "decent", wich if is'nt negative itself it's definitely below what i expect from the most important fight game saga of vg history

    Artworks?
I can barely point what SFV artworks art style is... we have some shitty renders, some Bengus story art, some arcade endings by 78 people some of wich from udon, kiki doing promotional stuff, some cover art from fucking artgerm, some more shitty renderings. Bunch of styles and things that barely make sense next to each others
Literally can't point wich is SFV visual identity because not even SFV people know it, only thing i can clearly see is that SFV art, whatever SFV art is, is not the best i seen from SF

    Concepts?
I liked most of the job done, except parts touched by Kiki. I don't care (actually i do, but not much) for promotional art, but make Kiki do lot of alt costumes was a mistake... now some will say Kiki costumes were best, i can care less lmao
Beside Kiki impacting otherwise pretty good concept production, real problem of concepts is that in next phase, beyond their control, 3D modellers took lot of personal liberties and as result good concepts were ruined. Of course 2D to 3D is'nt 1:1 job, specially with tech/ingame style chosen, but on top of that you have them take liberties
Wich is why #3 of my wishlist have that if you really must outsource i would like them to work with art director breath on their neck 24/7... SF6 deserve better.

The Bengus guy everybody complained about?
I am NOT a fan of his SFV job. I liked some stuff he did, but overall his work disappointed me
For that reason when i do a list of who i would like do SF6 artworks and a list of who not, he's in latter (would keep him for chara design/alts concepts work though, and ironically it's a more important job if we consider impact)
But when i seen the kind of internet shitstorm people(nobody in particular, the general trend) gave him, most without even the knowledge to have a decent opinion to begin with, defend his position was like the lesser evil lmao
But yeah, still fresh of SFV ask me list of possible candidates to do SF6 artworks and you will not find him in my 10 names

New little piece for our collection 😄

"As said by director Takayuki Nakayama, in addition to all the nods and references to Hiryu and the Strider series, the Street Fighter V newcomer Zeku also adopts references to Osman* as a way to "pay respect" to the game, recognizing it as a spiritual successor of Strider[11][12]. This includes nods in Zeku's young appearance and in techniques named after Kirin and Teki**, among others."

*Osman was an arcade game known also as Cannon-Dancer and was considered some sort of spiritual sequel of Strider
**Teki is the name of a mercenary squad the protagonist Kirin is part of

Here visual reference for influence on young Zeku costume design, see that Y.Zeku's forward side only, tight fitting shirt that leave uncovered his back

Fun last thing, he also created ki "blades" with his kicks like Old Zeku does
