  1. I keep getting Honda. I've tried a couple different combinations and I keep getting Honda
  2. Drive Reversal definitely helped with Ken and his dumb Jinrai Kick pressure, until I figure out how to actually punish it
  3. I think the biggest thing for me for SF6 compared to SFV was the "Oh shit I can do that?" factor. Like when you're fooling around with combos and you hit something that really makes you surprised that it worked. I realize outside of a couple instances, I never felt that feeling in SFV.
  4. What a wild character. Really fitting for That Man, but wow. They lost me at "Bookmark (Auto Import)". So he's actually pretty different than Nine, I wonder how often he'll be able to get the ball rolling in an actual match
  5. Honestly Jamie's CA in SF6 feels much more visceral than any Fatality I can remember for that same reason. Seeing the opponent's muscles tense when he touches their throat, the look of fear on their face made me wince more than all the eye gouging and face ripping in the recent MK games imo.

  7. Pretty cool trailer. Looks like it's gonna be gruesome as usual. I wonder if we'll see MK1 gameplay at the Playstation Showcase next week.
  8. I have no idea what he's going in that gameplay. At first I thought it was like Nine's spells from Blazblue, but it also looks like his spells take his own life? Reaaaaaaaally looking forward to his character breakdown.
  9. Oh wow, so you regen from burnout the fastest by moving forward? That's a pretty neat fact, definitely getting some classic Guilty Gear vibes from that. I wonder if that includes forward dash?
  10. True. I still found it so weird that Cetrion, the nature goddess, was strutting around in heels. Just didn't suit her at all imo.
  11. My strat is to usually hit up training mode, get a feel for a character, hit some buttons, see if I can do some simple confirms. Then I jump online and see if I can pull off those confirms, than go from there.
  12. I'm cool with the same 8 characters tbh. It's already so close to launch it'll make the full game feel that much better imo.
  13. I think I agree. In SFV I found a lot of the busier stages aggressively distracting. The Lair of the Four Kings was probably my least favorite because you had these robots and ninjas chasing each other across the stage like Scooby Doo, made Shadaloo feel more like an amusement park rather than an international crime syndicate. I think my overall favorite stage was Temple of Ascension. Cool atmosphere, kinda ominous and had some cool stage music.
  14. Marisa is still the most interesting to me, that really hasn't changed. I did really like Kim in the beta though. I'm pretty bad at learning more than one character so I'll probably stick with Marisa for a while tho. Dang the previous months flew by but now we're in the final month before launch the time is draaaaaaaaging

  17. Unrelated to everything y'all talking about but I dreamt Dee Jay would be S tier in Street Fighter 6. Like, Akuma good in SFV (up until the final season anyways). I have absolutely nothing to back up that statement tho. That's just what I saw
  18. A month from launch. Wow. Honestly it feels like it was not too long ago the release date dropped at the game awards.
  19. Man Marisa has a shit ton of target combos. Wasn't expecting that. From the Nephew vid, the LPLP, MPMP and HPHP target combos are safe and special cancellable, and her Phalanx (Power Dunk special) is safe on block too... I feel like her pressure is gonna be super unga and I LOVE it.
  20. Tyrant I'm really sorry your content leaked But DAMN am I happy to see some hands on with the new characters. I finally saw Marisa's movelist, I'm so happy I could cry. We also see the uppercut special move for the first time not mentioned in the leaks, Dimachaerus. Which is really cool I'm guessing the heavy/EX versions can ground bounce which is sick as fuck
  21. That's what I'm talking about. Look at my girl Marisa, what is she? Is she charge? Is she like Ed with 2 buttons? Does she have Zonk Knuckle??? The only thing I know about her is that I wanna be smothered to death between her bulging biceps and I've known that since day 1 ffs
  22. I'm still really surprised Capcom hasn't updated the SF6 site with movelists for the characters yet. In the SFV era they'd update the movelist info pretty much as soon as a new character was revealed. It's crazy we're a month and 1 day from launch and we still don't know if Deejay is charge, motion or hybrid
