I haven’t been playing the game at all really but decided to get drunk and play some casual matches. Run into a master ranked Ken I barely win but scrape by with a win almost every time. I get a friend request and he ask if we can play in a custom room..sure. I know he’s low key salty and like a pansy i try the nice guy route and tell him I’m just a drunk guy trying to shake off the rust then the cockiness starts “yeah I can tell lol you’re not reacting to anything just being random” I 3-0 him and start talking shit and the excuses start rolling in😂. I could have played him more but he was being a condescending bitch after every match. “You’re only winning off throw damage, Ken is negative on almost everything, you’re playing blanka wrong etc etc” i know I suck but the amount of delusional people who think they’re gods is kind of funny.

It’s frustrating as fuck and on top of it dr seems to put me into some weird ass twilight zone where if I manage to get a light button to come out it’s too early whiffs and I eat the drive rush or bigger button it doesn’t come out in time and I eat the drive rush lol. Patch notes seem to only be small tweaks but that was already confirmed that we’re not getting a balance patch until after cpt I’m pretty sure.

Yeah hopefully this is just the start because on wake-up I felt like I was already having to input super stupid fast in comparison to v and it still doesn’t come out . And also random upball sometimes even after standing for a split second.

In a game that requires most characters to power up or have limited stocks of the good shit JP just having unlimited access to portals is kind of nuts, on top of great buttons etc etc.

Not that I’m good enough to get 2k mr but it’s so fucking tedious getting points after master the most I was able to get was 9 points and then if you lose yeah.. I played for a while and gained 2 points in the end so it’s probably accurate lol. I took a break and played other games and came back a couple days ago. Ranked is rough but casual matchmaking is horrendous I’m fighting platinum ranked players and lower Diamond which is fine but if it does find someone near my rank it’s the same 2-3 people all day. between matchmaking and the input reader idk if I’ll put as much time into this as I did 5 and if I do it’ll be a slow burn with breaks in between.

This x2. Being my first charge character I spent and still sometimes do too much time worrying about charge but this aa beats so much stuff. If it doesn’t send them flying too far you can get coward crouch into lift off of it too. Sometimes even on trade you can get something after like slide. You can also do sa1/sa3 off of it

I didn’t really care for him in 5 but as time has gone on I’m curious to see what he’s like in 6. And I’m hoping he is more boxing focused, we ain’t got balrog or Dudley so it feels like we’re missing that

bnb’s- lk,lk, lightning I use this a lot you can switch it up and throw. Also after certain knockdowns to pressure on their wakeup. It can also go into SA2 if you use od lightning instead. b.mk/mk dr. Cancel hp, coward crouch wild lift you can sa1,upball, or for oki df.hp and dash up and be plus 7 I think. How do I deal with di’s? I try my best but honestly watch your long range buttons lots of them lose to di. F.mk does even when plus I’m pretty sure. I’m just now getting used to reacting to them it cost me alot still. Counter hit combos I honestly didn’t focus too much on and just used standard block strings. Hardest match ups? For me personally guile,Ken , deejay no particular order. i could have added more but it’s already a wall of text😅
