So far I think cammy may have the best redesign. i can’t tell if people are truly upset about it or just trolling but I think she looks better and it makes more sense and doesn’t just look like shoehorned fan service. But I also love Laura in sfv so what do i know lol

Caught the end of the stream last night I was still holding out hope. But when Rob asked to just see the PayPal and that man went to oh I gotta go see family yeah it’s a wrap. Arturo got cooked he shouldn’t have done that stream.

I’m just as hype as anybody but it’s kind of nuts to see the general consensus on the game considering how much people hated focus attacks and crush counters. I haven’t played the game and I’m ass so what do I know. 🤷🏾

Seeing all the drive gauge mechanics just has me thirsty to see the grapplers in this game. Gief drive rush into spd etc

yeah I saw someone playing last night and apparently you can react with your own to beat their driver impact. And here’s a clip of go1 using drive rush to beat the armor of drive impact and get a super.

Watching pro players stream and I’ve seen it mention a couple times that drive impact (I think that’s the one) in neutral is very strong. I can already see myself fighting the urge to throw my controller because I’m getting spammed by it lol. Off this weekend, got beer and I’m not really in the mood to play anything except this beta. Which is funny because I didn’t even enter to get a code. Guess seeing everybody hyped makes me wish I could play. Injustice 2 is free on psn right now I haven’t played a mk/nrs game since probably ps2 era. Been thinking about downloading it.

Finally got fucking Diamond! If I had a job where I was able to play more often I think i def would have gotten it sooner because when I actually played consistently it came pretty quick. Ready to see all the tech roll in for sf6 this weekend. definitely going to use mine and my wife’s email for the next beta. Actually hopefully the next one is open

I’ve been trying to grind sfv to keep me occupied till 6. But it’s tough given that the player base has dwindled. So it’s either get curb stomped or the people I can beat just one and done or ragequit. plus the netcode is still what it is

Seeing how sim can close distance in that combo, actually has me excited to see gief. Hopeful they show gief and deejay at the same time.

Looking through the YouTube comments I’m seeing a lot of admitted casuals or people who don’t even play fighting games saying they’re interested. Can’t wait to see more characters. Yeah the custom characters look very Fortnite but whatever. The whole hip hop vibe comes off kind of corny,I understand they can’t put straight up gangsta rap in the game but idk something about it just ain’t vibing with me. overall they’re doing a great job of getting people hype. Ranked points being per character is huge.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up being dlc.

Not to sound like a shill but capcom is killing it lately. I’m sure a lot of it is being in a better position financially. I’m hyped for the battle network collection too. i wonder who they’re going to show next, hopefully whatever they show for the open works mode gets the casual fans attention. Randomly even though I’m not really a Ed fan I’m curious to see what they do with him. I wonder if he’ll have inputs like in 5. I don’t really see the need for it with modern controls

Yeah I didn’t really realize Kimberly was controversial till I went on r/kappa and a couple other places. Then somebody translated reactions from a Chinese page . They were going in but I’m just gonna assume it’s vocal minority that hate the character. I’ll probably play her just to piss people off at this point lol

Even without playing it I believe it, every bit of footage I’ve seen looks just a tad bit slow to me. So it adds up. Games still got plenty of time to be tweaked.

I’m hoping she’s dlc later on, she’s just so much fun to play. At first I thought she was boring and basic but after I learned some of her ex clap shenanigans I really clicked with the character. I hope they put somebody that’s as versatile as a grappler in sf6. I’m thirsty for more trailer reveals and hopefully a beta this year so I can pick my main
