Yeah about to go play some more. But I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’m overthinking this as if I’m competing for that 1 mil.😂 just gonna try to have fun and play who I want. But I also wanna actually get decent at the game and get rid of some bad habits.

The character crisis is hitting me hard. So far just messing with different combo trials but that’s making it worse because I’m treating the trials as if they’re absolutely all needed to play a character. I’m trying to stick to my goal of learning a charge characters so that’s not helping lol. Funnily enough blanka is clicking the most so far. I’m avoiding trying manon till last resort because I know she’ll be my Laura substitute till she hopefully is in the game

If you have or make a Japanese or Korean psn account you can buy and play now. I also heard you can spoof your location with a vpn to unlock on steam. not tried either method (no gaming pc) and I’m not willing to buy it twice lol

Apparently Kimberly got more nerfs than just losing invincibility on her ex tatsu. Some saying she’s been kneecapped but who knows if it’s an exaggeration or true.

I saw a quote from a review saying the game will have something similar to a battle pass with a free and premium tier. And some cosmetics and other things will buy unlocked that way. Could be the reason

I know it’s kind of cringe to be hype for dlc when the game hasn’t released but I can’t stop from imagining some characters in this system. But after experiencing the drive system I can’t wait to see makoto or Dudley. *fingers crossed On top of the game and netcode feeling good you can see the amount of effort going into making a good product and nods to the sf legacy in this thing. I hope they sell well they deserve it.

If I’m having this much fun with the beta I can only imagine how it’ll be playing characters I’m really interested in. Deejay /Honda can’t get here soon enough. Seeing how oppressive Kimberly is with the spray cans, now prepare for blanka Chan setups lol.

Hot take but I almost feel like they left the grapplers out of the beta on purpose. Knowing everybody is spamming drive impact and getting spd’d would have the pitchforks out for grapplers. And I also noticed some weird a2a interactions with Kimberly’s tatsu and super lvl2. Not sure how bushin style tatsu interacted in other games but there were lots of times where unless I did the overdrive tatsu or caught them at a specific angle it would trade or straight up lose the interaction.

This is what I’ve been doing except that no matter how empty a server I pick I get interrupted by people wanting to run sets forever lol.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t the hypest about this game after playing the demo and watching videos. But after 1 day on the beta I’m ready for it. I just kept playing match after match. I still have some things I’m worried about but it feels good to know there’s a fighting game I’ll be able to really put some time into. I will not be sticking with Kimberly she’s okay but she’s just not for me. Right now I’m really considering Honda mainly because he’s straightforward and dumps damage. Kimberly really seems tedious to get any solid damage going. This game requires you to be on point reactions wise so I’m playing whoever’s simple .

Goddamn Sony, you can’t use any ps4 pad or fight stick on the ps5 version of the game. Okay I’ll just download the ps4 version nope it doesn’t show up anywhere on the psn store or the app if your account is linked to a ps5. If the ds5 didn’t feel like complete shit for fighting games I wouldn’t care. EDIT: nvm my ps4 fight stick works but not the pad oh well I’ll take it

Oh yeah glad I noticed it pretty quick I still had tractor brakes just none on the trailer, now I’m sitting waiting on repairs lol
