Gen is officially dead if they revive the "Gen's female disciple" concept. Characters dying in the narrative is fine but when their disciple takes their moves and surpass their master in popularity it's game over. Rose survived because she's a hot girl with story relevance. Putting Gouken in the game will kill the allure of Ryu's redesign, Zeku is already overshadowed by his students, Retsu is a literally who and Oro is would make a perfect background character. It hurts to see all the old men so low but this is reality.

That's a mutual agreement between both parties where the winner takes on the mantle. Akuma sees a strong fighter and will kill them even if they don't want to fight. Akuma is "evil", not as evil as your Oni's or M. Bison but he should be categorized as such. Ryu is "good" but according to official media he's not as good as Ken, Chun-Li or Charlie Nash.

Rashid failed the assignment when Juri challenged him to a fight and he, the main character, hid behind his butler. I've seen many protagonists in fighting games, but i've never seen one who'd run away from a fight. If it was any other protagonist this would've happened: And then there's G who's supposed to be the boss of SFV...

He lost to Gouken when Ryu and Ken were teenagers. So it's 2-1 in Gouken's favor. All those years where Gouken "died", Akuma was training, only to lose to Gouken who just woke up from his sleep. My only wish is for Capcom to put Garuda in SF6. Either Akuma loses badly or he spends the entire series running away from it like he did in SFEX.

Gouken looked like this before Gouki killed Goutetsu. I was trying to find Gouken's concept that resembles Ryu but then i found these: Akiman also drew a picture of beard Ryu in the early 2000's, it's almost like they wanted to redesign him a long time ago but were afraid of the backlash from SF purists who want SF to remain SFII forever. Or Oro and Ryu were never master and student to begin with. Oro's just as delusion as Sakura who keeps calling herself Ryu's disciple when he's never taught her anything. 3rd Strike SFV Oro's Ending for 3rd Strike

Ken's got it worse than Alex. He's no longer the number 2 of SF or "Ryu but more flashy". Akuma overshadows Ken both in terms of popularity and flashiness. Ken's biggest showing was in Smash Ultimate and that's only because he's a pallet swap, meanwhile Akuma continues to appear in more games, and KOF All Stars will be on his resume. Akuma can appear in a game without Ryu (Tekken 7 and Monster Hunter Rise) but Ken can't because he's not on that level. Notice how nobodies asking where Ken is in the SFVI teaser...times have changed.

Shinkiro's not the artist. Also Ryu's a manlet so he'll look embarrassing next to Kyo, Iori, K', Shun'ei and Terry. If he had a beard he'd look less of a wimp next to them. Sean's family was introduced in this book. Laura didn't have a name at the time. There's a few things in SFV that came from this book, one example being Ibuki's sporty costume.

RE is getting news tomorrow. The new IP with the little girl got delayed big time. It's not Monster Hunter. DMC is dead af without Itsuno who's working on Dragon's Dogma 2. The announcement is literally after Capcom Cup and the time is well suited for Japanese audience. It would be a slap in the face if it's anything other than SFVI.
