Yeah, I'm wondering if this last season was really even necessary. I guess depends on when SF6 releases. If it releases early 2022 that's not enough time to even master these season 5 characters (unless you're a god). And it kind of sucks for Rose players that probably wanted her in SF6.

Winter 2020 can technically only be from Dec 21st - 31st. So he should be dropping sometime in that 11 day period. This is Capcom though, and that date could easily change. I'm not really excited about Dan I just want to see the new battle mechanic and rebalance.

That fight is brutal. And if my memory is correct the game prompts you to save before the battle - so unless you have a backup save file there's no way of going back and leveling up.

I'd also recommend FF Tactics. It's probably the only old game I'd recommend to someone who never played FF games. As much as I loved the old school turn based FF's - they really didn't age well in my opinion. Tactics is more of a strategy game and the battles are very fun and don't feel like a chore. The story is pretty engaging as well. It's a great game. FF7R is great too, and plays more like an action game than an old school RPG. I'd recommend both!

There are many many people that liked SF4 more than SF5 but continue to play 5 because that's where the competition is at. If they disliked 5 enough, like you said, those people probably either quit or moved on to other games. But there are a lot of players like myself that preferred 4 and still play 5 actively.

Heard Cyberpunk is a fun game but very buggy. Sounds exactly like Skyrim when it first came out.

It's amusing to me because it's pretty stupid. To not include a character that might increase the overall sales of a game because of story reasons when the lore in most fighting games is trash. In Kliff's case, I can kind of see him not being in because he's not a popular character to begin with. However, if there's demand for a cool character they can easily make up an excuse to put them back in like how Capcom 'resurrected' Nash in SFV.

They actually wouldn't include him in the roster because of lore reasons? That's....amusing to me and kind of unfortunate.

Yeah Kliff is is a badass. Not sure why he's not as popular as the others. I'd probably main him if he ever gets into Strive.

Strider could squash Punk in a fight but still I agree Punk came off looking better here. I mean it's funny that Strider was calling him out but was using the same excuse himself. "That was a different red ass light right there" 🤣

It's the good ol' announcement of an announcement. Oh well, just happy that we finally have some sort of news and a concrete date. Been looking forward to this game for A WHILE - but it has to have rollback or I'm not touching it. If they go radio silent on the subject I'm just going to assume delay netcode again and that's a bust for me.

I agree, I really don't see a point of second critical arts. What do they really add to the game? It's not like additional v triggers/ultras that change the way the game is actually played. Seems like a huge waste of resources. I hope this isn't the case.

Fair enough. Juri and Poison are definitely characters that I'm a fan of and enjoy fighting. Seth is another story..... As for adjustments they could definitely nerf Seth's axe kick but it depends on how their balance philosophy is this time around. Knowing Capcom they'll either gut the character or somehow make him even better 🤣

Funny I noticed a lot of Juri players switching to Seth and doing better. Seems like Seth plays similar to what Juri players are looking for, just that he suits the meta better.

Punk said he's excited for Dan because he wants to troll people. I haven't heard of anyone that said they want to play the character seriously.

I'm probably in some twitter clips myself the amount of times I've been styled on with Gill's VT2. I figured out you can mash backdash to get out of a few of his setups but I still don't really know what's going on half the time.
