So, yeah, storage is my only issue with the thing. Having to use an SD card is gonna suck. I didnt want to move over to SSD cause the price but once I did...there is no going back to slower shit and some shit loads slow as fuck if not on SSD, shit, I even have one game that wont work properly unless I have it installed on an SSD. I'm never a day one buyer anymore so I'll be able to wait and find out how the NVMe is mounted in there. If its soldered then I wont get one and if its not I will...eventually. I'll wait a year or more, see if they come out with an updated model you know?

Yeah, we'll have to wait till the things are cracked open to see that. I didn't watch the video, but you did, did they open it up? If the NVMe isn't soldered in the sucker I'd just open it up and switch it out.

Really that is an awesome handheld going by the specs and price alone. Its as powerful as some gaming laptops so it can play just about anything out now on medium/high settings at least. The price on the cheapest model is great. I'm just wondering now about the storage on it as that seems to be what really changes the price of the sucker. The cheapest one, the one with super shit storage, uses eMMC and the other two use NVMe. I wonder if the cheapest one comes with a NVMe slot in it? I bet it doesn't and I bet the other two models you can remove the NVMe from the thing and put your own in it. Then the fact that you can put a different OS on the thing... I'm gonna watch this like a hawk. If I had to get one now I'd get the middle version.

I wondered this myself. I wonder if they have the NVMe soldered in or its just a port. I'm going to assume the former because the price seems to be based mostly on storage. But if its just a plugged into a port go with the cheapest one then upgrade whenever. edit - the storage is shitty no matter what version you buy and if they make it so you can only use SD cards for expanded storage its gonna suck ass. imo

The specs of that handheld or similar to a gaming laptop and you cant get a gaming laptop for less than 1000 dollars. Usually it cost more. Its a good deal I suppose, I just dont like the touch pads. I looked more and it looks like buttons on the back and not touch pads. Wonder how hot it gets?

The Xbox button on my controller does nothing because I don't have Xbox game bar installed. If I did have that installed it would bring up the Xbox home menu enabling the ability take screenshots, view friends list and other shit. That shit impacts performance in some games so I removed it. Seems like it could be cool. I dont care much for the touch pads...it looked like there were some on the back of the thing too. I'd hit all of those on accident constantly. I had to disable the rear touch pad on my vita cause of that shit. Also the internal storage is just lame. The cheapest version comes with 64gb of internal storage. Thats like 2 games.

I watched some of Monster Hunter Stories 2 and it looks fun to me. I dont usually like turn based games but I still like to try them, just in case. Think I'm going to try this one. I never even heard of this side series or whatever you call it. Didnt know there was a part 1. P.S. I never played a monster hunter game. I got it installed, asked about it then lost interest and uninstalled it.

So why cant it work on PC. I read a while back they were going to update the controller (firmware) and make it do something. But I haven't read anything about since.

The only special thing I put for delivery people is "Do not make eye contact!". They always make eye contact. All but the pot store guy that delivered. He would not look at me, just kept his head down. I was wondering why he was doing that then it clicked that I had left special instructions for the delivery person. lol🤣🤦‍♀️

See, the reason I never took the flu shot again is because about 4 days after I got the flu shot I got the flu. I didn't want to get it in the first place but someone talked me into it. I'm not immune to the flu and never have been. I can spread that around and no one gives a shit. Ive been sick about 4 times since then...with the flu or a cold. You can write a big book on how the shot will "protect" me and others and stop mutation and all that jazz. someone said it earlier...that's some mental gymnastics you're doing to convince me I should take it and that I'm wrong for not takin' it.

I haven't taken a flu shot since 1999. No one gets on my case cause I haven't.

I didnt realize I was throwing shade. I know and talk to plenty of folk. None of the men I know talk about their shows or clothes. The only person I knew that had a shit load of shoes was my moms lady. She had like a hunned pairs in the closet. Shoes still in boxes "just in case I need them to match with something" shit. Its just not something that ever comes up with the men I know, only the women. Don't get bent outta shape about it.

Dunno if I said it but Boomerang X is a really fun game. Its fast and crazy and...hell, its fun. I guess people like it as the reviews are positive on Steam and Metacritic. I don't really look at that stuff but it tells you on the Steam page. Give a try if you feel like droppin' 20 bucks on something. I got RE Village. I get these horror type games but I'm usually too chicken to play/finish them. Horror movies...they cant even keep my interest, they make me bored. But scurry games I cant handle. hmhmhm go figure.
