Some thoughts: I wonder where he's at mentally in SF6, the wording here makes it seem like he's getting kinda crazy (er?) I wonder if the statues will have any cameos? Gen? It's kinda funny he's killed 100s of warriors, but can't keep anyone in the cast dead lol. Jokes aside, that's kinda cool, him doing a keepsake of the past fights is driving him crazier "remember all of these faces? Think of how good it is to take their lives! More Gouki, more! Don't leave them lonely, take more liiiiiives!" I really hope they do something interesting with his character; the reason I fell off the train ages ago is because he has so much potential, but in the decades since his arrival, he's never making any real progress, just staying in the corner of the untouchable, edgey boy. I wanna see WT give insight into him in ways we've never seen before, I also wonder if the increasing isolation and SNH breathroughs he's making are making him wilder, but a bit of humanity from the player character (or Elena) may offer something unexpected.

I'm not even the biggest Akuma fan, but he looks fantastic. I'm loving the details and aesthetic push he's gotten. Someone on Twitter pointed out that for some moves, his entire face darkens. I love that Capcom is overhauling so many things, that's why I wanna see more SF3 folks, I can only imagine how cool they'll be under this direction!

Always happy to see what's left on the cutting room floor. Redhead Aki looks good, but feels like an entirely different character, I love the crazy, creepy, cute design we got with the snakeskin pants and mushroom hair. Echoing the points about the other characters, but I really dig that 4th Akuma at Peace one.

Thanks! If this is real, I gotta sit with it, still unsure how I'd feel; I know Bison's coming back eventually, but s2 kicking off with two Shadaloo guys already feels kinda too soon and I again would be unsurprised, but disappointed in SF3 being give less priority.

That was a really well cut trailer. I hope they do more cinematic stuff like that for future characters or at least the last characters in a season. May just be cause it's Akuma though.

I still find it kinda hilarious how out of all the games out there that get our hair right and is bursting with variety, is Fortnite.

Yooo, Ed's stage is awesome! Destroyed lab, broken Shadaloo logos and dead human incubators everywhere! He also looks like he starts going a bit evil in his first winpose! Cool stuff!

Yeah, I haven't watched the whole thing but Tekken 8 really did things awesomely as Darc said. No spoilers, but the fact that they had certain characters having story related affects on their movements was awesome. I remember back in the 90s when my sister and I played Soul Blade and in Edge Master mode there were certain matches with special conditions (player is poisoned, opponent can only be hurt in air, etc), I'd love to see more of that in story modes!

I....I just don't get it. I love SF6, love WTM & online and the avatar stuff is a fine idea, it's just that they're leaning too far in one direction instead of something balanced. I'm really confused and hope season 2 irons out the wrinkles, cause this is disappointing. I WANT SF6 to reach for the stars, but I'm getting worried. 😕

Also I think Cammy would want her to fully accept herself and be comfortable, so there would probably be encouragement to not cover up or even growout her hair to cover her face. It's a cool direction to see her just living a normal life and leaving the fighting to Cammy.

I wonder if the sIrin stuff is going to be a bigger focus for season 2 and this is hinting at it? Also we're getting maintenance on the 8th, hope the trailer drops soon.

I actually like the gremlin angle, not just because it's funny. I see it as showing how maladjusted & empty she is without the violence being focused on Bison and not dealing with her trauma. She's been directionless and between a few gigs and encounters, when left alone, all she's got is emptiness. A.K.I., fully villainous as she is, has F.A.N.G. and her shop in her life, but Juri's got nothing, hence why she tsundere's around the WTM character and slows shows a connection (and embellished tales) to them. A nice, compelling arc.

I....I want more anime adaptations of Street Fighter. With all the collabs, it'd be golden to see more of these, but you know, a fulll on OAV or series.

The trailer has the 2nd appearance of G. I hope that hints at him coming in season 2 lol

Also, with all the talk of erasing and life paths, she could have just opted not to talk about her brother since he's no longer relevant to who and what she is now.

Baki x Street Fighter has the potential to be absolute insane fun. What's it gonnna be? In game stuff, or another one-shot manga thing?
