  1. I'm really in the camp of just moving on and forgetting about Necalli. The devs can put their focus on anything else.
  2. For Necalli, I have no idea how he'd work since he's so inhuman and feral. I'd look to how they'll approach Akuma maybe, but still... As for Q, even before WTM, I was in the minority & I could see him talking. Not too much, but regardless of how much he talks, I can see him being about whatever particular mission he's on while peppering mysteries here and there. No heart to hearts about his time in a lab. Something interesting could be making him like JLU's version of the Question: You don't learn much about him, but he's moving the world along, he has his fingers in the various mysteries of the SF world - known and unknown things he could speculate on and has been researching. Conversations with him could point to connections to G or flatout show that he's investigating him, has a vendetta against him or something, but for every 1 thing you almost learn, 10 new questions are sprouted. Learn that he was in Nayshall and knowns Ken is innocent and show he's had his eye on his since SF2, throw a curveball and say Q actually did run into Oro decades ago. Him being Where's Waldo'd into SF's history could be neat. You could potentially have some fun; he's comically serious, but he's wrapped up in weird stuff. "I can't prove it yet, but rumours point to the legendary fighter Ryu having been through the multiverse" "Bison? Hrnn...that's not his real name...the truth will confound you." Alternatively, you could have Q interact, but another character fields the interactions, like the way that Li-Fen is hanging out right next to Chun-Li, if like I previously mentioned, he and Viper strike up an unlikely alliance, she could field some of the talk while he pipes in a bit. You could even have it that the CIA agents David & Gillian are fielding most of your questions, but Q pops up later, or for plot reasons, they're forced to collaborate to take down G, JP or something. You could really break the mould and have fun with Q in WTM, but he doesn't have to be totally mute and unapproachable; all this can be done and keep the mystery growing, because nothing worse is making a mystery that ultimately doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't have to be spilled out, but if you keep things in one place, you risk stagnating the character and no one will care about the mystery. If all we know about Q matches what 1999 had, but he just gets to run around in 3d, that's a mistake. Keep it going.
  3. Depends where you look, I'm seeing people like Lily and a ton of people love Luke now. I don't think anyone's failed this time around, surprisingly.
  4. SF6 is the most popular the series has been and people are praising how the characters have aged, changed, and overall progressed. I can't possibly see them rebooting the series at all. Juri's immense popularity is reason alone that they're not gonna go back to SF2.
  5. Having multiple characters in particular corners of the lore has been a normal part of SF. Having her look into the Q mystery and leading her into G is a good angle in addition to moving along other tales like the JP -Nayshall story, Secret Society, etc. Shadaloo CRI confirmed that she's been tasked with tracking him down and in the comment section of one of my vid essays, a viewer wrote that it's possible when she ran into Urien in his story she was chasing a lead on Q. In between the grifting her and Juri do, it could be that she does start noticing an overlap of the guys they con and some of the people that wind up dead whenever Q's involved. Heck, it could be kind of cool if it turned out he's been leading her in circles, corners her gives her an ultimatum; Help him stop G* or jump in a lake. *= there's nothing to officially point to Q as good or villainous, but I get the vibes that with some of the toku elements (Kamen Rider's created to be a weapon by a secret org, but runs away and becomes their enemy), the fact that he's only seen observing the crime scenes, but he's not caught in the act, his demeanor (feels like he took a fight too far, so calls himself an abomination, the incredibly limited win quotes have him being strangely polite - a simple "Yes?" or "Again?!" instead of going "Crush! Kill! Destroy!" like Urien)
  6. Yo, that's wild, I never heard that before! If Rose has some darkness in her and that went to Bison, that would be quite the development: "Bison, damn, being evil feels good! Gonna 110% this! it's....DELICIOUS. I'd want Bison to have agency in his evil, so if it just opened the door and then he fully pursued evil, I think I'd prefer that. I don't want him to be noble man, could be interesting if he had some darker impulses, seemingly buried them in training. Got that taste of evil and instead of burying it, went all in.
  7. Maybe she's on another assignment hah. We've seen her I think at least twice in Chun's shooting pic and Guile being in the not vibing mood for Dee Jay's concert, so she's still active I guess. Or vacation aka dlc season X?
  8. Oop, I forgot the picture: https://twitter.com/Shockdingo/status/1665458273032499200?s=20
  9. Whaaaat, for real ?! Oh snap that's wild, who did you talk to to learn this in game?
  10. I don't think so, sure, it's wise to take Juri's statements with a grain of salt, but we don't really know much about Viper, she could have become disillusioned with CIA work, is stockpiling for her and her daughter's benefit and who knows, she may have discovered something ugly in the government during the years of her employment. Corruption happens a lot in the SF world, so while Juri may be exaggerating and painting a more cynical picture, Viper could be chasing her own path away from the government. Who knows, maybe when she was tailing Q, he told her some earth-shattering intel about her superiors? Heh
  11. Ryu is learning the ways of the internet https://twitter.com/MattMcMuscles/status/1664419805594546176
  12. This is 100 types of amazing lol. The story plots so far aren't where I'd like them, but I'm loving the character interactions and personalities!
  13. While I was hoping for more story details, I do like what I'm hearing overall for the game. My hope is that as the game gets older and the roster grows, we'll have additional story content steadily added. This game is gonna be around for a long time and I don't think they'll only add just characters and stages. Might be me coping, but you never know.
  14. Oh snap, one of the Basia sisters?! Hah, aw man. I've had complicated feelings on if I'd want Captain Commando to truly be connected to SF, parallel universe, or a fictional property in SF. Looks like they're getting something going though.
  15. I no longer care about spoilers, if ANYTHING new is pointing at G, please, for all that's holy, tell me. I need more than the barbershop poster.
