  1. I don't like Ryu's extra wide headband. Why couldn't they have just stuck with the way it looked in WTM?
  2. I just yell about it on random forums. I'm sure that's reaching them somehow.
  3. I mean...yes. It's a sprite game. And sprite games look inherently dated. That's not to say that dated = bad. It doesn't. But sprite games do not look like modern games, which is the definition of dated. Well that's just plain not true. Game devs have stated many times that 3D models are much easier to make than sprites. Making a 3D model and animating it takes less work than drawing hundreds of sprites for each character. There's a reason why the MvC modding community is focused on UMvC3 now instead of MvC2. I agree. GGXrd is a freaking PS3 game and it still looks gorgeous even today. But Xrd doesn't use sprites. It's a 3D game. It's art style makes it look 2D, but it's not. It's made in Unreal Engine. And that's what SFOmega needs. A 3D engine game made to look like 2D concept art.
  4. In order to do it, you need an art style that doesn't age. Like using ArcSys's techniques to mimic Bengus' Alpha 3 art. That way, you can still be releasing DLC 10 years later, and the game won't look dated. Then you just have to...keep making it till it's done.
  5. Man, they stole my name idea. Street Fighter Omega was what I wanted them to call the Alpha-style game where 'Everyone is Here!' Speaking of which! Updated my Tag Teams list. A few sweaty combos as usual, but some of the SF6 newcomers slot in nicely. FANG+AKI and T. Hawk+Lily were no-brainers. And Juri revealing that she still teams up with Viper made them an obvious team.
  6. Most of these are the outfits that showed up in their WT artworks. Manon's outfit isn't from WT, but the hair style is. I think it's funny that Lily's alt just straight up looks like Talim cosplay. 😛
  7. Does Devil Inside do anything useful if you don't use any of Jamie's other moves? Like a generic damage buff or something?
  8. Yeah, but, why would they bother? It's not like Bosch was a particularly impressive specimen. You kick his ass repeatedly. Like, bringing back Nash to use as a weapon made sense. Nash was a huge badass. Bosch is just kind of a failed experiment.
  9. I suppose in the sense that anyone can be brought back, sure. But it's hard to get much deader than being Uncle Owen'd. And nobody that has the means to bring him back would have any reason to.
  10. Why? So you can have a dead Pencak Silat user? Anyway, he's pretty established by the story. He's Nayshallese. And uses the Nashall martial art.
  11. I think the poles are Bison, Sagat, Akuma. And then, yeah, the one on the ground is Adon.
  12. That's how Shadaloo found him. Bison was like "This is so evil. I have to have this guy on my team!"
  13. I might buy that, if the image of him with the Russian flag hadn't been leaked concept art, not intended for public consumption. That suggests to me that, earlier in development, he was intended to be Russian. But by launch, he no longer was. The alternating personas seems like it was added later.
  14. I've always wanted an Israeli Krav Maga user. But ff they were planning such a thing...it's probably been put back in the freezer... Just like JP no longer being Russian.
  15. I think they're overdoing it with Akuma's hair. Better than SF5, but still too much.
  16. There's no laurel wreath there that I can see. That's just the owl's tailfeathers. Anyway, if Bosch is any indication, Neo Shadaloo isn't much more positive than OG Shadaloo.
  17. This is how bosses should be done. Playable, balanced version. Unplayable, OP final form.
