  1. To add to your statement Because there an actual full migrant worker industry, with workers doing seasonal rotations is how alot of the labor is done in this country. Especially agriculture, find me an American who willing to pick cabbage in 100 degree + weather 10 hours a day 5 days a week. And yes there is a Legit Documented Migrant worker force that moves about the US and Mexico seasonally to where ever the work is, make money and send it home working difficult agricultural roles. There a whole support industry built around the Documented Migrant workers, transport, support, lodging, meals, ect. Most of the illegal force is being taken advantage of and being cheated out of their pay and benefits. The other part of the equation alot of conservatives refuse to look at is that most of the illegal activities aren't done by the illegal nationals, its the bad employers and con men willing to exploit them, and it gets to the point that it's dangerous for the Undocumented Migrant workers. Immigration both legal and documented and illegal is how we avoid population collapse. Except for poor rural and urban areas, most American families are having fewer and fewer kids, with many adults not wanting to have children. Eventually without a influx of new/young workers the system topples over as there more seniors citizens than there are contributors in society. The country that facing that the most is Japan, its bad enough where they reconsider some of their immigration policies. It's also how we keep our domestic produce prices low, Migrant workers both documented and undocumented.
  2. Which as I see it at least 3 laws are broken, 18 U.S. Code § 1201 - Kidnapping, 1907. Title 8, U.S.C. 1324(a) prohibition on transporting illegal aliens, 34 U.S. Code § 10271 - Misuse of Federal assistance (i.e. Fedural Funds).
  3. 18 U.S. Code § 1201 - Kidnapping (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1201) Whoever unlawfully seizes, confines, inveigles, decoys, kidnaps, abducts, or carries away and holds for ransom or reward or otherwise any person, except in the case of a minor by the parent thereof, when— inveigles: persuade (someone) to do something by means of deception or flattery Definitions from Oxford Languages Tricking someone to go some where is Kidnapping according to federal law
  4. They got to find him first. The Hero we needed but not deserve.
  5. And if they want to copy the shit, they will copy it. Obviously they are holding it at ransom and Rockstars being well Rockstars can't continue as they don't have it. Hence why they needed a back up. Pirates are going to pirate, but if you lost your copy and didn't back it up who can you blame but yourself.
  6. I see you aren't a man of culture. Good Day. And to the rest of you Gentlemen (Not you Stu)
  7. Say what you want, but how Rockstar decide to fuck the Modding community, I think it's funny and I'm tired of pretending it's not
  8. Word is their profit margins on their graphics cards are slim, thanks to Nvidia, and Nvidia cutting them under by selling Founder Edition cards. Worst is that EVGA and other board partners gets drivers about the same time Youtube reveiwers do, and the board makers has to spend months designing the card. Nvidia leaves their partners in the dark so for so much. And Apparently EGVA had enough.
  9. You see most of those people quit if they do that. They lost years of work, No crunch is going to get that work back quick. Also it's Rockstar's own fault for not having backups.
  10. I knew someone who used to work for their Online game tech support. Trust me, they almost decided to throw a party over the news. And I am there for them.
  11. Seeing Rockstar sweat gives me a great sense of delight. The schadenfreude is strong here.
  12. Dude it's hilarious. More Entertainment here than what Rockstar putout with GTA.
  13. Probably for the best, despite video cards being 90% of their business, the graphics cards being a minor portion of their profits. Evga makes so little on each card. Apparently their big money makers are mother boards and power supplies.
  14. The point is the leadership, aka Trump dropped the ball in the first place. He took out the one group who want their job and we had to rely on the next man down on the tolem pole Fauicci. By the time Biden took office it was way too late.
  15. Did not help that the President at the time fired the Pandemic response team and was slow himself to address what is going on. He also threw out the "Play Book" Bush started and Obama finished on how to deal with 100 year Pandemics.
  16. Newest Mini console And in case people don't know what the Sharp x68000 is The X68000 is a home computer created by Sharp Corporation. It was first released in 1987 and sold only in Japan. Gaming was a major use of the X68000, with custom sprite hardware and an 8-channel sound chip enabling ports of contemporaneous arcade video games. The X68000 was also used as a dev kit for many Capcom Arcade titles, including Street Fighter II, which this has a near perfect port of.
